All Pets Veterinary Center

Dr Missy Jewell lied to my son and me. She told us that our rabbit was dying of an infection, that if we took her to another vet they would euthanize her, and then shot us such an incredibly high price to treat her. When i told her the money she wanted would be difficult for me to pay, she told me i was in violation of my adoption contract with the rabbit rescue i got her from, even though that was none of her business. I left her with Dr Jewell to treat hoping she would live (she did) and that i could work with the lady running the rabbit rescue to get her back. on the way out the door Dr Jewell handed me a paper to sign and i was so beside myself with grief i signed without thinking or reading. Afterward i called to check on my rabbit and Dr Jewell wouldn't tell me if she was dead or alive! I posted about it on the rabbit rescue Facebook page and in 10 minutes Dr Jewell texted me agreeing to give me updates if i wouldn't post more negative about her. She sent me a copy of what i think she had me sign. It is a surrender paper she said was to her, but the paper only has my name on it, not Dr Jewell's name or the name of her clinic. I showed it to an attorney who told me the paper wasn't even legal and when i told this to Dr Jewell she ignored me. Meanwhile the lady running the rabbit rescue is Dr Jewell's friend and sided with her. It turns out the owner of the rescue was also ill and not taking care of the 60+ rabbits in her house, so she closed but publicly blamed me for her closing when i had nothing to do with it. After two weeks Dr Jewell, without my permission, transferred my rabbit to a rescue in Bloomington Indiana called the Pipsqueakery. I tried to work with the Pipsqueakery on facebook messenger to get my rabbit back, but Alex Hernly, owner of the Pipsqueakery and an attorney working for Cook's Medical as a Data Privacy Specialist, took our private message conversation and pinned it to her public page for her rescue to belittle and to make libelous claims against me on her page. So my son and i lost our rabbit that we loved. I am currently filing a grievance with the Veterinary Board of Kentucky against Dr Jewell in the hopes she won't be able to hurt anyone else this way. Do yourself a favor, do NOT go to All Pets Veterinary Clinic!!

Dr. Jewell and Dr. Ladegast are two of the the kindest humans I have ever met. They only hire staff that have the same enormous heart and dedication to all pets and people. In the seven and a half years I have been a client I have experienced nothing but compassion, sincerity, and selfless altruism from all members of All Pets. I have been comforted by them when I can’t hold back tears about a diagnosis. I have celebrated new pets and new babies with them. I have gotten calls after hours and on weekends checking on my four-legged boys. I could not ask for a more devoted team to care for my dogs, and by extension, to care for me. I admire their unconditional devotion and superhuman abilities to do a job that is often thanked, but never thanked enough. THANK YOU, Dr. Jewell, Dr. Ladegast, and team. From the bottom of my heart. My boys thank you, too.

I called after 10 PM with an emergency..I got the voice mail that said text and someone would get back with me, so I did. NO ONE EVER GOT BACK WITH ME! Now I have a dead pet..I called the next day to see what happened, if they received my text, ECT...I was told by the receptionist that they would get back with me..NO ONE EVER GOT BACK WITH ME! So I call the next day, day 2, only to be told that is basically my fault that my pet died because I didnt specify if I was a client, which I am. I live over an hour away and was willing to drive my pet there in order to save it. I was told that they get so many texts that this is just how they do things at that office. They could of asked me if I was a client but instead they let an animal die by assuming I wasn't. The woman on the phone was cold and acted as if my pet wasn't an important issue. That I basically was "over reacting to the situation." Never in my life have I ever heard of a vet clinic doing this! I even tried calling local vets, even they called back saying they couldnt help and suggested places to call. I will be looking for a new vet clinic to take my exotics to from now on! I will be letting everyone I know and those I don't what happened and how I was made to feel. DONT OFFER EMERGENCY SERVICES IF YOU DONT WANT TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEM! RIP Arthur...we will miss you and love you always.....

I think it was $85. She’s never on time. She seems to be one of the better vets in Louisville. The workers are okay.

Dr. Jewell and the entire staff at All Pets Veterinary Center went above and beyond to care for my dog. He needed his medications re-evaluated, staples removed from a large incision, and noted an infection in my dog's ear that no one had noticed before, thus requiring care. It was clear to me that my dog was cared about and that made all the difference! I will be taking my dog to Dr. Jewell and All Pets Veterinary Center from now on.

They are excellent and I have been going there a year. They have great prices.
