I cleaned my first chimney in 1978. Since then I have serviced over 17,000. WE DO EVERYTHING ON CHIMNEY'S...except build new ones. We take checks, credit cards and cash. Monday through Friday and half day on Saturday. Dallas Thomas St. X Alumni, Class of '68.

I waited to write a review until now because I really did not know what to expect from a chimney sweep service. A friend had a chimney sweep service today (12-16-15) on two wood burning in home fireplaces, with a different company, so I waited to talk with her about her service to compare.
My service took about 35 minutes, the technician never went up on the roof to examine the chimney but cleaned both units from the inside of the house running a brush up the chimney then vacuuming up the debris. The charge was $349.
My friends service took 2.5 hours the technician inspected both chimneys from the roof and inside the home, cleaned and she was charged $340.
So my conclusion is you really need to shop around and find out ahead of time what you can expect for your money.
