We purchased a spec home and the yard was not graded properly. The "fix" was written into our purchase agreement and accepted. It took over 7 months to finish the work. The yard was re-graded--not once but 3 times--because they didn't follow the master grade for the sub-division. The developer had to get involved. They never checked the irrigation system prior to sodding--even though they said they did. So when it was used for the first time, the system leaked in multiple places. We found one sprinkler head buried underneath a splash block--more evidence that they never checked the system. It took 6 visits for them to fix them all. Several rose bushes were dead and needed to be replaced. They replaced them with a different species than the ones in place. When confronted about the different color/species, they denied that they were different and stated that "the soil affects the color of the roses". Sorry! Works with hydrangeas--not roses!!! We caught them in numerous lies.
Description of Work: Company re-graded our lot, re-installed the irrigation system and re-sodded the yard.
