They do everything. They do our rabies and we've had two dogs with issues that they've treated. The price varies. It's usually cheap but it varies with what all is going on. The wait is usually never more than 15 or 20 minutes. We've seen two vets there and they are both very nice. They are pretty awesome. I go back because of their quality of care. They always follow up and make sure everyone is doing okay. They've always been very accommodating for our schedule. They have Saturday hours. No matter what, they always call like the day after and make sure there's no reaction or whatever.

The entire staff, from the waiting area to the vet tech to the veterinarian to check-out, was professional and caring.  My cat had not seen a veterinarian since her spay and declaw.  On a great day, she doesn't like anyone but me.  Once we encountered a dog in the waiting room, she began growling louder than dogs growl!  Once in the exam room, Conley was very gentle and patient with her, giving her lots of time to become accustomed to the environment.  Dr. Sears did likewise, however my cat behaved badly!  She continued to growl and hiss at anyone who tried to befriend her and even those who ignored her.  After 30-45 minutes of no progress toward tolerating a different environment, we agreed to sedate her for the exam.  Not only did my cat get an exam, but noone was thrown or bothered by  such bad behavior.  While I was horrified at her growling, hissing and aggressive behavior, the staff remained calm, reacted professionally and reassured me with suggestions that I might use to better prepare my cat for strangers in the future.  I could not be more pleased with my experience at Village Animal Hospital.

It went very well as usual. Dr. Sears is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares very deeply for the animals. All the staff there is equally dedicated. Pets receive the very best of care with lots of love and comfort to help them through whatever is going on with them. I have been going to Village Animal since 2009 when I moved to Lexington and I have never had a negative experience. My son and daughter- in-law take their pets there as well and have always been happy with the care, so it was a no brainer when I needed to find a veterinarian. I would whole heartedly reccomend them to anyone looking for top quality and compassion for their pets.

I was very concerned as this dog had had many problems in the past. Dr. Sears was very through and explained all the procedure and what might be involved. I was very impressed that she was was so determined to make sure that all the growth was removed. The followup appointment was very smooth to remove the stitches and I never had to wait over a few minutes.

Dr. Sears does a good job of explaining what our puppy needs, providing literature on topics that we raise, and following up with emails and phone calls. We feel that our puppy is receiving excellent care from Village Animal Hospital.
