Our pool steps were close to 30 years old and had a large crack in the top step and the paint was beginning to flake off in some areas. They were becoming an eyesore and I was concerned that they would have to be replaced (VERY expensive option for an in-ground pool).
Juett Pools told me about Tubs, Floors and More so I called Tab and he came out the same day to look at our pool. He explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. We had a wait a few weeks for the weather to warm up, then they called me the day before they were coming out so I could drain the pool down below the bottom of the steps.
Tab and his crew proceed to put a layer of new fiberglass over the entire area being careful to seal it completely. This process took several hours because he really took the time to make sure everything fit well and would be smooth when it was painted. We then left the fiberglass to cure for a week and they returned to sand and paint the new steps. I was concerned about them being too slippery so they put some coarse sand on the steps while they were painting them with epoxy paint.
Next, had to wait 3 more days for the paint to cure and it was time to fill the pool back up. The steps look absolutely amazing and I could not be happier with the job they did. It was not a cheap job, but after seeing the amount of work it took I have absolutely no problem with the price I was charged.

The house was occupied during the work.
No tear out to joists. No new sub-flooring, No waterproof drywall behind surround, Poor joint compound finish , pitting, uneven sanding, knife marks.
New toilet install loose on floor. Had to call and have other owner come over and fix. Dana agreed that the work was less than satisfactory.
Tile trimout missing.
Cheap transtion strip with large screws protruding.
No electrical box installed for lighting fixture.
Did not use paintable caulk.
Did not take steps to reduce dust migration. House was filthy with drywall dust. Corrosive dust is now in computers, electronic equipment and musical insturments.
Set up tile saw at front door. This caused dust and grime to be tracked into house through livingroon and down hallway to bath.

Response from Tubs, Floors & More
"This work was completed within the budget as discussed. New sub-flooring was installed as needed. Drywall was not installed behind the wall surround as the surround had a flange and was made to be screwed to the studs and drywall over the flange. The toilet was loose because Mr. (member name removed) took it loose to paint behind it - we returned to tighten it at no charge. Precuations were taken against foot traffic and drywall dust and the drywall was finished to paint. A transition piece had to be used due to the floor heights of the bathroom and the hallway. Dana did not agree that this work was less than satisfactory."

His name is Donny Atha. This has been an above excellent experience. It was a very old house and it was a tough project. We ran into a few kinks, in which they came back immediately and made several trips. This was not due to any fault of their own, it was just an old house that needed a lot of attention. They would not charge any extra than what they quoted the project to be. They went above and beyond to make me happy.
