Once I finally reached them Barry made a quick trip to the house to quote out the work. Very nice and easy to work with although I assumed a vapor barrier would be fixed in place and this crew simply laid plastic sheeting in crawlspace. Overall the work was satisfactory.

Absolutely the best experience. Barry was very responsive to emails and calls before setting up visit for estimate. Very punctual and wonderful at answering all my questions and concerns. Crew was punctual, professional and friendly. All work space was prepped and they were conscientious to clean up afterwards. They sprayed the roof deck in the attic which immediately made a tremendous difference in the upstairs temp. I was having to use an additional A/C window unit although I had already had a HVAC company install additional HVAC vents. Additionally, They also blew in insulation in the attic ceiling.The second day they performed the work in the crawl space cleaning out all old debris ( and removing a dead snake!), placed the vapor barrier then spay foamed the crawl space walls ensuring to cover any openings/cracks or holes on the foundation. Barry came after to inspect the work. I cannot speak highly enough. Great price for the amount of work and materials used. Other companies I check wanted double the amount just to spray foam the attic.

It seemed to go as planned, though I have not gone under my house to inspect the completed job in my crawlspace, so for now I will give a (B) rating. Without seeing it, I don't really want to give a review, but feel the need to provide one at this time since I've been asked numerous times to do so by Angie's List. I met Barry face-to-face for the initial inspection. He seemed professional, although also very busy. He answered the phone while speaking with me to converse with one of his employees (which I didn't particularly care for in the moment). What I did appreciate, was that he was open to all of my questions and concerns and did answer them thoroughly. He also seemed fair in his pricing, and did a good job in communicating with me via email as well. The original deal was for up to 500 square feet and I had more than that in my crawlspace. The original cost for the deal was $149.00 After the inspection and installation and removal of the old vapor barrier, I ended up paying a total of $338.00.

It was quite good. The service was excellent. The price value was excellent. Customer service was excellent. In the ad, it says there is a moisture analysis and in my mind that was some sort of digital reading. That was not what it turned out to be. The reason I was sensitive to that I just had some water main break outside my house and there had been some moisture in the car space. I was concerned about how much moisture was there. When I asked the technician about it, the moisture analysis is basically, they are sets of the degree of moisture and the degree of moisture that can be prevented and that sort of things. That was the only caution that I have if you are expecting some digital, some sort of instrumentation as to what the moisture is in your car space, but I was pleased with the service. The only other statement I put in my review is that this company does not have brochures or pictures and those sorts of things to show you. But I did ask, "can you show me a picture of what it will look like when it's done? Can you show me some ostentation of the value of this particular method of product?" and all of those were forthcoming and were quite excellent.

They did a good job of covering area evenly, worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after completion.

Donnie arrived on the job about 10 minutes late from Lexington, I joked with him pretty good considering most contractors wouldn't even apologize or sometimes even show. They set up quickly drilled 2" holes midway up the wall in between the studs and started pumping foam in the cavities. There were no hangups and they were done by supper time. They let me look over the equipment in their box truck and explained how it all worked. They even let me foam a little bit before they took lunch. When they pulled out that evening I went to patching the holes in the plaster. The next day I called Thermospray and thanked them I was amazed at the sound deadening qualities as well as comfort level of the rental. I had that house rented in no time, because I sold the fact that it was now superinsulated. The new tenants are very happy with their LG&E bills. I would recommend Thermospray of Lexington to anyone in need of insulation. Great experience and well worth the investment.
