We actually found Peter and SunLending via Angie's List. Before that, we had no knowledge of him or his business. Peter and his team are very easy to work with, responsive to questions and concerns, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly had our best interests in mind. THANK YOU ! ?to Peter and the entire SunLending Team for such a terrific job handling a challenging re-financing.  They did it when others just couldn?t seem to get this one done.  Do yourself a big favor, and go to Peter FIRST; particularly if your loan is challenged by several interconnected factors (due to investment properties, businesses, subordination, etc. etc.)  They are persistent in knowledgeably working the needs of all the parties (even to the point of showing other parties the actual wording necessary to getting their piece signed off).  They get it closed at competitive market rates.    You are not just a commission to them; they whole team is personable and a pleasure to work with.  With great personal and professional admiration, I give Peter and the SunLending Team my highest recommendation.  (As background, I have been through approximately 25 loan closings on investment properties, personal business, personal homes, etc.)

My experience with them was very good.  Their rates were better than anybody else’s.  I have no complaints.  I was very satisfied with everything that they did.  It took a little longer than I expected but everything was very thorough.

Overall, it went really well with one small hiccup. My husband initially contacted Peter about getting a mortgage, and really enjoyed talking to him. He offered us an Angie's List discount off the closing costs, and a really good rate on a fixed 30yr mortgage, so we decided to work with him. He was offering a better rate than other quotes we received from 2 other companies we tried. The paperwork was done very quickly via email and fax (we were out-of-state buyers). As soon as they needed something for the lender, Peter, or his employee Darren, emailed or called us immediately to get that information. It was really important for us to close on a specific date because we had to move our stuff from a different state and be out of our house there. I believe our loan was approved about a week after we submitted all the paperwork (we initiated contact a month before intended closing date), which was 3 weeks before closing. We were buying a FSBO and that part was fine. We stressed a lot because the appraisal was ordered a little bit late and was submitted for review 2 days before our intended closing (and all of our stuff was packed and ready to move!) and then we were just sweating, wondering if the final mortgage was going to be approved based on the appraisal. Luckily it all worked out because the sellers allowed us to move in on Friday, and we successfully closed on Monday. All in all, we were happy that they were able to process all the paperwork in essentially 3 weeks, and I know they worked hard to do so. I would have hoped for a little more communication from their team when the appraisal was ordered, because we expected to move on a certain date, and they did not tell us anything to think otherwise. We are happy that we used Sun Lending, and would definitely use them again. Peter and his team are very nice, professional, and on the ball with paperwork. We feel like our closing costs and rate were competitive for the mortgage market.

His name was Peter Sun. There was nothing that I didn’t like. The guys were great. They are a clearing agency for another lending company. I did a lot of background and the other lending company is a very discriminating lender. Peter was very good and very attentive. He has built a nice business and we can tell that he is super conscientious. So I had a good experience with them. Overall, the cost was as competitive or more competitive than anybody I priced in there. I went through everybody. In the end, I decided to go local. Peter was local, and I never regretted it. I have recommended him to other people that have been thinking about refinancing.

We refinanced our home mortgage with SunLending USA very happy with the whole process. Mr Peter Sun was very helpful and gave us the years on the mortgage loan we wanted, not a set 15 or 30 that the other companies had offered. No other company was as inexpensive or responsive as SunLending USA. So we now have a refinanced mortgage with no more years on it then we had left before and at a very reasonable cost. Everyone worked professionally and was polite and helpful. Would use this company again.

Happy with the broker, but the law firm that they use was supposed to withhold our taxes, but yet, went ahead and paid it along with our previous lender. Now after 2 months, we are still waiting for the refund from the sheriff's office for several thousands of dollars.

,Spoke with Peter briefly on the telephone about a refi.  He explained the process, the interest rate and terms, paperwork i would need to provide, and all fees associated with my refinance.  I traveled to Lexington to sign the papers and paid for an appraisal which was my only out of pocket expense.  He sent an attorney to my home outside Louisville for a "remote" closing.  It was a rather easy process.  I gave a "B" for cost because I could have saved money on an appraisal fee.  Overall a very good experience.
