The project was challenging. A shifting roof load caused an exterior log wall to bulge resulting in serious structural issues. What impressed me about Josiah Robey and Strong Construction was the firm s emphasis on quality repairs. He went the extra mile to diagnose the problems and resolve them. He takes the time to help the homeowner understand what he is doing and why. On time. On budget. Meets expectations. I would not hesitate to work with his company again.

Installed 2 new downspouts and installed gutter guards. Capturred 8 downspouts and ran to the front of house. Reseeded lawn.

Wow! If you re looking for a reliable, highly-knowledgeable and skilled contractor in Central Kentucky, I cannot recommend Josiah highly enough. He installed our new dishwasher, and also took the time to help us strategize another home project we have in the works. He s an absolute wealth of information, and a pleasure to work with.

Efficient and knowledgeable

Landscaping really was not the proper category. Essentially, I had a ravine that split my property in two, that served as a path for storm drain water to move towards the property detention area. The ravine was up to 7 feet deep making it impossible to mow and maintain. I wanted to extend the storm drain corrugated pipe 120 feet and cover it with dirt than plant grass. This project included relocating the head wall of the storm drain to meet county codes. Josiah, his brother Jeren and a third contracted person moved 15 truckloads of dirt while re-grading the property to ensure proper surface draining. I was extremely pleased at the care and follow-through they exhibited. Josiah is honest, polite and dedicated to pleasing his customers. Both brothers were great in answering my questions regarding other concerns I had separate from this project. My intentions is to hire Josiah for other projects as needed.

He explained everything we needed, gave us the option to decide what we needed, and gave us a project cost in advance based on what we decided to go with. He explained every step along the way. Very professional. Very trustworthy. We felt comfortable leaving him free access to our home while we were at work. The work was extensive but completed to perfection. We could not be happier with the finished project. He even gave me tips on some DIY improvements I could do myself. Told us to call him anytime after the job was completed if we had questions. Josiah was prompt and performed an excellent job. I had tried several other contractors and some didn't bother to return my call others set times and didn't bother to even show up. Josiah was very personable and professional. I would highly recommend him and Strong Construction if you are looking for a competent professional to perform your home repairs at a reasonable fee.

First class knowledge of tasks associated with gutter and soffit repair. Thorough explanation of work with a detailed estimate and kept us well informed of schedule (had to accommodate changing weather). We were impressed with the quality of Josiahs work and his attention to detail. In addition, he was pleasant and interesting to talk with.

Josiah answered my call after 5 pm and was at my house by 6:30 pm and finished repairing my leaking window by 8:30 pm. 100% top quality, professionalism and knowledge of what needed to be done.

They are very friendly and seemed to enjoy sharing their knowledge with the customer. I plan to call them again for future job as they come up.

Josiah Robey worked on my garage ceiling leak, replaced attic fan and couple of other small jobs. Guided me in the right direction and shared with me his knowledge and experience. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work- we had water entering the house and Josiah was able to asses the problem and he worked to fix it correctly (instead of attempting to “patch” things) and then repair the related deck, flashings, and interior sheet rock. He was concerned with working to provide a permanent repair, demonstrated a work ethic that was project/job quality driven rather than clock/time driven, kept us informed on the status of what needed to be done and what was being done, and worked to ensure we were satisfied with the end results.
