I just had Stone Age Masonry install a brick and flagstone porch, and I’m super happy with how it turned out! Eddie and his team really know their stuff. It did take a little longer than I expected, but honestly, I appreciate Eddie’s perfectionist side. He really takes his time to make sure everything is perfect, and it definitely shows in the final result. My porch looks amazing and has completely changed the look of my entrance! Eddie kept me in the loop throughout the whole process, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for quality masonry work, I can’t recommend Stone Age Masonry enough. Thanks, Eddie, for the awesome job!

Eddie and Tina kept in touch with me on starting and completing the job, They were on time, were professional in work and conduct, provided an insurance certificate, were careful with the existing roof, used brick-colored mortar to appear brick-like in color, and water-sealed the completed stucco. Given the location of the work on a 2-story roof, the price was reasonable.

Stone Age Masonry- was very flexible in taking on what was an ever-changing project. As we got further into the job, more issues were uncovered. Yet, they were able to create workarounds and finally get the project completed with very high-quality. Extremely pleased, and will be using them for more work on our chimney and Chimney cap.

Excellent service! Arrived at the appointment time to give me the quote. Gave me an estimated start date on the project and set the actual date as we got closer to the estimated date. Showed up on time completed the work and the charge was the same as the estimated amount. There was some follow up work that occurred aprox. two weeks later that was also on schedule. I had an unrelated problem which they stopped by and looked at on a later date which they never charged me for. I have another project which we discussed at that time and plan on using them for this project and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Am very pleased with the services of Stone Age Masonry. Response to request for estimate was quick. Took a few weeks to start work as weather was not helpful. Once started work done as quickly as weather allowed. Am very pleased with final results! will use again if masonry is needed.

We were having this work done in some of the worst weather of winter, 2018. We knew, going in, that temps and precip were not going to be accommodating but Tina and Eddie worked around nature's best shot and got the job done in reasonable time and with top quality. The price was in line with other reputable contractors and they left the work-site clean and ready for finishing.

Eddie is meticulous and professional- while the work took longer than expected, most of that was weather related- we are ecstatic with the results and would not hesitate to hire again. Price was fair, work excellent!

Tina and Eddy are great to work with. They are as responsible as they day is long. They work well together. They did a great job on the brick work. And designed a new pattern, when the old pattern wasn't working and wasn't worth fixing. It looks so great!

Unfortunately, we are still experiencing leakage around the chimney. It has branched off into a new area, so the area they patched is probably holding, but somehow the water is still getting in and now flowing away from that area. I have asked if they'd come back and look at it as they said they could almost guarantee it 99%, or words to that effect, but so far, haven't heard from them, which is disappointing. Tina is normally very responsive. I'm sure they're busy now that the rain has ceased for a bit.

Repaired a large stress crack on side of house, and on columns on porch.    Also repaired mortar in decorative stone where water was leaking in.

Several partial days on site but worked quickly and did a fine job.   Will likely bring them back to repair other cracks in decorative stone in the fall season.

Unfortunately, this was the only company to even respond to our RFQ. We asked for quotes from 8 different contractors through Angie's List and only Tina replied. Props for that. Tina was friendly in the quotation stage, and when we approved the quote, they arrived within 2 days to start the job. This was the end of the easy part. I learned a valuable lesson...if the people you hire don't do the business parts properly (signed contract, signed change orders, etc), they will probably not do the rest of the work properly either (show up on time, charge the correct amount, follow through, etc). Each day they were going to come work, they told my wife a time they'd arrive, and it could be 3-5 hours later before they'd show, with no further communication. They set up forms, poured in some fill rock, and left it for over 3 weeks. The other issue was that they tried to pour a concrete patio on top of existing sod, to a point where it would have been over 14" high at the edge and cover our outside water faucet and the bottom 2" of siding. I had to redirect them more than once in order to get the job done correctly. Once we were clear about our expectations, they brought in a bobcat and excavated the area properly. Then it sat for 2 more weeks. Our yard was unusable for over a month. Pouring day came rather unexpectedly. The trucks showed up without even telling either of us they were coming. After the pour, the concrete work itself was quite good, but our back yard was completely trashed. They didn't use boards for the truck to drive on, and afterward, they just sprinkled some grass seed and hay over the trenches made by the truck. We're still trying to level it back out, but it's a HUGE job. Since this was in January, they told us that they would have to come back when the weather was better to pour the step to the house. Fine...we dealt with a 14" drop for a while. We paid them $5100. When the weather was warming, we hadn't heard from them to complete the job. My wife texted Tina 3 times over a week before we got a reply, at which time, they said they'd come finish the work. When they arrived, I asked if they could finish (stucco) the vertical part of the wall under the siding. They said yes, for another $200. I said fine. They did it, along with the step from the original part of the job. When the bill came, the invoice said $700, $500 of it for the step. Mind you, not only was the step to be part of the original job, it was only 42"x16"x6", so in no universe is this a $500 concrete step. Not only that, but it's a ****-poor attempt at a step to boot. When I asked Tina about this, she claimed that I had verbally approved the $500 step. For $500, that step had better have some ornate carving and be laced with gold. But no, we got a cheaply-formed block of concrete that I could have done for a $4 bag of quickrete (because that's all they used). After some back and forth, she called me everything in the book except human (If anyone would like to see the texts, I'll be happy to prove this). Since I did agree to pay them $200 for the stucco, I told her she could either amend the invoice to $200 or she would get nothing. She amended it, and added another personal insult on the invoice (also available to show anyone who asks). So I paid it, simply to get these ridiculous people out of our lives. These people seem to know what they are doing, just enough that without clear expectations, they will do the least amount possible. The best part of this job is that it's over. I STRONGLY advise you to seek someone else to do any work, regardless of the type. They saw a family in a nice house and thought we'd be a great target for a little extra shake-down money. If you'd like further details, please feel free to contact me.

They did a very nice job. The job was a complex series of jobs in several locations. We were dealing with weather conditions and because of those they had to come several different times. We had a bit of a miscommunication on one of the jobs but they fixed it as soon as they heard. Very nice people and very capable of many areas of stone and concrete.
