Our A/C was blowing but not cooling, and Stewart's got someone out shortly after I called them. After troubleshooting, they determined the motor and blade of our 30+ year old unit needed to be replaced. Due to the unit's age they would suggest replacement, but their tech thought it may be possible to figure out a match to the now-obsolete parts. They priced each of these options to us--$650 for blade/motor repair, and several options ranging from about $5500-$6500 for total replacement of the A/C unit, with the higher end including an upgrade. We discussed it, and decided upon the highest option--replacement and upgrade. Then we got the call that due to the pandemic, the Amana factory was down, and that would not be possible. Stewart's graciously gave a few suggestions and guidance toward what to ask/look for with other repair places, if we were set on quicker replacement with a premium brand--while also giving us other non-Amana options. (My understanding is they are contractucally obligated to Amana as their premium brand... so another premium brand wasn't an option through them.) Instead, we opted for the motor/blade repair, and to put an order in for an Amana 4 ton unit. We have a history with Stewart's, and they have always treated us extremely well... everything from quick service and making our options easily understood, to being aware of tax rebates and incentives. Price-wise, they are also very competitive. At the end of the day, they were able to find a match to our VERY old motor, plus the tech was even able to re-use our old blade... saving us almost $200. (And yet again, earning our loyalty.)

We love this company. They have repaired our heater in the past and are currently repairing an old AC unit that we had been told by other companies couldn’t be repaired. We find them to be honest, professional, punctual. I have recommended them to many!

Did this the first week of October 2018. They provided the most bang for the buck by giving me a final installed price with adding a few pounds of R22 Freon for $1600. So far, so good.

When my furnace stopped working, Stewart was able to schedule a same-day dispatch without problem. The technician, Freddy, arrived on-time and diagnosed the problem immediately. He explained the issue and provided some maintenance advice as well. I can't overstate how satisfied I am with the quality of service and would use Stewart again.

I could not be more pleased with our experience with Stewart AC and Heating. Our AC slowly went out right at the beginning of summer and I dreaded having a tech come out and potentially tell me that we needed a whole new system, expensive parts, or extensive repairs. Ugh. Based on the previous Yelp reviews, I took a deep breath and called Stewart. I spoke with a very nice woman who not only made an appointment for a tech to come out in two days (not bad), but she also gave me some suggestions of things to try BEFORE the tech came out that might fix the issue. Then, I could call her back and cancel if that was the case. Wow - how nice is that? We did those things and they helped a little, but didn't solve the problem. The tech called in advance to remind us he was coming out and showed up right on time. Within 30 minutes he had diagnosed and fixed the issue - a bad fuse. A little Freon, a new fuse, and $94 later ($50 service call charge included - lower than other places), we were back in business! We then called again recently when our furnace wouldn't kick on. Again, the tech came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it (no parts needed!). All we had to pay was a reduced service fee of about $50. I could not be happier with their professional, honest service!

It all went well. Service people are extremely helpful, professional and competent. The cost was significant, but we found out the furnace in the attic was cracked and could have created a fire or worse. These are the folks you want to have service and install your heating/AC equipment. We of course upgraded to much more efficient units.

The workman was very good at explaining what he was doing patiently. I used a coupon on Angie's List. I have used them before, and would recommend them. They are the only ones we use.

I use Stewart Air Conditioning & Heating when I do use someone. They're good. I used them a couple of years ago 2015. I don't have them do anything in the spring, I just have them do it in the, when I'm getting ready to fire up the furnace. I think it was probably less than $100. Their price is good, they're competitive. They usually have one person that comes out to do the work. It takes them an hour to do the winter check up. The area they work in is fine after they are done. It's not a messy service.

Our experience with them was excellent. I would recommend them. They spent a lot of time on it and they did a really good job. They came when they are supposed to and stayed until it was done. Every time the air conditioning was leaking again, they came out every time and fix it promptly and efficiently. Their warranties are great. The price was competitive. It was good.
