It was absolutely a tremendous experience working with Norm and Shannon throughout the entire process. During the free initial consultation he went over some things we should do to our house that weren't overly expensive to prepare for showing. Using his guidance we were able to get full asking price for our house in approximately 10-days. Upon our search for a new home a couple of months later he was more than willing to schedule and attend as many showings and research as many homes as we asked (and we asked quite a bit). If he was not available, Shannon was always ready to assist as well and it was great knowing that we had not one, but a fantastic duo of realtors assisting us in our search. We ended up purchasing a home that had just hit the market, which we probably would not have gotten if not for their expertise. Throughout the entire process my wife and I had ample questions and Norm and Shannon were always immediately responsive 24/7. We had several conversations at 8am on weekends, as well as after 10pm on weekdays discussing and going over options. They are some of the most honest, reliable, professional, and trustworthy people (not just realtors, but people) my wife and I have had the pleasure of meeting. We like to consider that we not only gained great realtors through this process, but friends as well. If we ever decide to put our house on the market they will certainly be our first phone call.

Norm and Shannon were the most responsive and professional realtors with whom we have ever worked.  They really listened to what we had to say and were easy to work with.  They got back to us immediately if we tried to contact them.  When they walked through our house at our first meeting, they gave us several suggestions, such as painting the front door and shutters, removing a chair that looked worn, purchasing a dehumidifier for the basement, etc.  We made almost all of their suggested changes for making our house more marketable. They wanted the house looking its best before they listed it because they said our house would get the most interest in the first few days on the market.  They spent a lot of time determining how best to describe the house for the real estate listing and how best to market it.  They used a professional photographer to take the photographs of the house for the listing.  Within two days, we had seven showings scheduled and two offers.  We accepted the second offer, which was for more than the listing price. The closing went smoothly.  We would highly recommend Norm and Shannon.  They have many years of experience and make a great team.  If one of them is not available, the other one will take care of your needs. They received the standard percentage that a listing agent makes for the sale of a house.

Selling a home is a huge undertaking with "gotchas" around every corner. A Realtor determines the climate surrounding each one and quite often determines the outcome of the experience. For example, the Realtor representing the seller needs to be able to play nice with the buyers' Realtor in order that Realtor favorably influences his clients.
Norm and Shannon are the nicest, most intelligent and professional Realtors we have ever experienced.
We started this process by interviewing a different Realtor on a Saturday. He came out to the house, looked around, talked to us about pricing and said he would come back on Monday with the paperwork as he had a volleyball game Sunday. Um. Ok. Monday. Having been a Realtor I wondered why he didn't have his kit with him. After he left my husband and I talked it over and the more we talked the less comfortable we became. So we slept on it.
The next day, still uneasy we turned to Angie's list. We saw Norm and Shannon's reviews and the more we read the more we realized their performance reviews matched our expectations.
We called on that Sunday to set up an appointment and Norm actually answered the phone! A real person answered the phone! Wow, how often does THAT happen? He came to the house in a matter of hours, fully prepared and expecting to take the listing. We remarked on his punctuality. He said his father told him, "The longer you leave a head of lettuce out the more likely it will spoil." His daddy taught him well.
Norm brought his wife out to see the house because they work as a team. We were equally impressed with Shannon. She is lovely, vivacious and informed. These two work like a tag team, to the benefit of their clients.
He then had another member of his team, Preston, come out and take photos of the home, inside and out. Twice. Some of the photos needed to be redone because we installed granite in the kitchen in the meantime. There was no complaining or grumbling, just cheerful professionalism. The photos showed beautifully on the internet. This process took hours of Preston's time; it was no five minute job.
During the process of selling our home we never waited very long for a return call. They responded quickly, stayed "on point" throughout and were always pleasant. Additionally this is not an 8-5 team. They do what it takes.
When we hit the inevitable snags they guided, urged, communicated and did whatever legwork needed. They made sure, in a very kind, nice, gentle manner, that all parties performed. Including us.
We are going to miss them as Realtors when we buy a home in the Phoenix,Az. area, but mostly we are going miss them as people.

The Billers were among best realtors we have ever dealt with. Their knowledge of the market for homes, townhouses and condos was tremendous. They never seemed rushed and were genuinely interested in finding the best place possible for our son, who is now in graduate school at U.K.  They also found the BEST home inspector that we have ever met!  I would recommend the Billers for anyone looking for a home in Lexington.

This was my first house so I really didn't know the selling process at all, but Norm and Shannon have been very patient, honest, kind, and thorough with me throughout the whole experience. Norm and Shannon always made me feel like my questions and concerns were important to them, and they were extremely prompt with emails and calls. This was a really great first selling experience, and I would recommend the Billers to anyone who is buying or selling a home. I would definitely use their business again in the future without hesitation.

We found Norm and Shannon through Angie's list and were very happy with their service.  They spent a lot of time talking with us and as well, were very particular about the staging of the house.  We followed all of their instructions faithfully.  We went back and forth about the listing price, and we trusted his advice on this.  He listed our house on a Friday afternoon around 5 pm and in about the next 24 hours we had two competing offers.  We actually ended up making $5,000 more than we were even asking for the house.  For anyone wanting to sell their home, Norm is an excellent seller's realtor and I would highly recommend him.

We aren't ready to sell yet, but Mr. Biller was very responsive to my questions and invited me to contact him anytime I had more questions, or to get together for an appointment. He gave me a couple of good tips that we hadn't thought of. We plan to use these agents when we do sell.

Norm and Shannon provided great advice to help get our house sold. They gave us a to do list with what they thought we should do to get our house sold. We did it and the house was only on the market two days before we had received and accepted an offer. Norm did a fabulous job taking pictures and the listing was very thorough and inviting. Norm also helped us negotiate for our new house that we recently purchased. His advice was always appreciated and helpful. He always responds quickly to phone calls and emails and is extremely punctual. I would definitely use Norm and Shannon again should I ever move.
