Description of Work: The lower level of my daughter's split level home received 6" of water on 4/2 when her sump pump failed during a record rainfall. Her rental manager used a small local carpet cleaning company, which pumped out the water but placed only one fan and no condenser, and closed off the two uncarpeted rooms. When our insurance adjuster saw the situation and brought it to our attention, we told the rental agent to get rid of the local company and call ServPro. They came right over and placed several fans and a condenser, removed the baseboards and the carpet and laminate flooring. They continued to follow up until the basement was completely dried out.

The clean up crew responded within 30 minutes of the phone call. They thoroughly explained everything that they were getting ready to do. Our insurance covered this, so the monetary value wasn't our focus at the time.

My insurance company paid thousands on them. The reason why I am not using them for the second half of the restoration is because they were more compared to the other estimate. Our aquarium burst and all the water leaked on to my wooden floor and went down into the basement like rainfall. They came and they dried out the wood. They tore up the carpeting upstairs and downstairs and worked on drying up the wall. They did the basement ceiling and wall. Overall they were very good. The office people were awesome and they were good about getting someone out the same day. The restoration people came and kept me in the loop. They were very professional, polite and respectful. They dried out the hardwood which took a week and half to do but it was very good. I liked them a lot and I didn't know they were charging my insurance company double what anyone else would have. I liked them a lot and they were very responsive. They have a restoration company that doesn't go by the same name. Their estimator was not rude but he treated me like he was the estimator and I was just a woman out there who knew nothing. I didn't appreciate it and he didn't answer all my questions. I didn't like his answers and time lines he gave me. I didn't like the way he talked to me. He wasn't respectful and he talked down to me because I couldn't possibly understand what he was saying. My husband is the one who knows nothing and I am the one who deal with it. I didn't appreciate it and I didn't like it. I didn't go with them. I didn't like the way he spoke to me. When you have your house flooded you pay whatever it is to get it done.
Description of Work: I used the service of Servpro Intellectual Property Inc. They did some clean up job for me and also an insurance job.

They were prompt, courteous, professional and checked the state of things every couple of days until the house was dry. They worked directly with our insurance company so I didn't have to deal with paying Servpro and waiting for money from the insurance company. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: We had the water line break that supplies water to the toilet in our master bathroom. This led to water spraying for hours while we were at work. The water got into the drywall in the bathroom, flowed out into the bedroom and living room, which led to ruined hardwood floors. It also flowed into the heating ducts in the floor and into the unfinished basement. Servpro came to assess the damage and help dry us out. They checked under the baseboards for water damage & removed them, deployed a number of fans in both the main floor & downstairs, and later in the week deployed a special mat that "sucked" water out of the sub-floor. The hardwood floors were not salvageable, but Servpro was able to get the house dried out so that we could get the floors replaced.
