I was referred to them several months ago for help with an unidentified illness with my cat. Although he recently passed away, I feel that without the help of Dr. Holaday, it would have been unbearable. She was very kind and thorough and helped walk me thru all our possible options.
We finally agreed that palliative care was best for him and when it was his time-she and her team were extremely compassionate. I am really grateful and we are now taking our other pets there...

We were worried about leaving our dogs, but they were treated very well. Walked multiple times, fed promptly, very caring pet-loving staff....

The staff is always very helpful and always work us into their schedule if we have a last minute need. Dr. Smith is very thorough and really cares about the health of our pets. Everyone there really makes you feel like family.

I would trust these guys with my own life. They are highly skilled, knowlegeble and compassionate. They have guided me through cancer, diabetes, UTIs, worms, and fleas, to name a few. I would not go anywhere else.

I don't really want to give the details as this dog is so very special to me and it remains a painful subject. I can tell you that she was given very special care. I was treated respectfully as well as my dog. I would not take my dogs anywhere else. Excellent doctors, techs and staff.

Exam went very well. I did not have to wait. I was also impressed that they were able to diagnose one cat as being allergic to mosquito bites, giving the cat a shot that relived him of constant scratching. Even with repeated inquiries, my previous clinic had no answer as to why he would scratch.

Appropriate test were run to determine the problem and steps were taken to correct the problem.

I was given an appointment fairly quickly after calling, within 3 days or so. The office staff might have checked us in a bit more efficiently - I had to wait for a couple of the desk staff to finish a personal conversation before I was noticed. They were helpful after that, though, and we saw the vet within 15 minutes. Dr. Gary Clark gave my cat a thorough exam, and was very gentle with him. Dr. Clark has a wonderful way with animals (at least he does with cats!) especially in a high-stress situation such as a visit to the vet's office. He also took the time to answer questions I had about my cat's diet.

Dr. Clark and the staff at RRVC have been really good with my dog throughout her allergy problem. I've have been taking her there for nearly two years now, and they appear well-informed, and are always very helpful. I've never had much difficulty getting an appointment when I needed to. I still continue to go to this vet even though I've moved and it takes me a lot longer to get there than it used to. I trust their standard of care. They are also more reasonably priced than other Lexington vets.

My husband calls this, and I quote, the Mayo Clinic of veterinarians. My dog is scared of vets, but he has no problem with the doctor here at all. He does not try to bite him or anything. My dog is not very good with strangers. I know that a regular exam, not including shots and things, is about $39. They are pretty reasonable.
