Our 20 yr. old radon fan quit . Mr. McLaughlin , gave estimate and replaced it with a new fan. He worked in very cold weather to complete the job.He is very knowledgeable regarding every aspect of radon mitigation and patiently answered all our questions and concerns. The finished product is solid and installed as it should be. Also electrical wiring was redone to meet the current code requirement. Very pleased with the job .Would highly recommend him .
Description of Work: Replaced the radon fan . Replaced the PVC pipes .Updated the electrical wiring to bring it up to code - done by a licensed electrician provided by Kenny McLaughlin , owner of the Radon Solutions of KY.

We did not meet Mr. McLaughlin when he set up the test; the Realtor did. We met him at the reading which he performs on the spot. Our readings went from zero to eleven and fluctuated a lot. Mr McLaughlin started trying to sell us on mitigation from the moment he met us. My husband finally walked out. In my previous life I was a real estate agent, so I am familiar with radon. If I were not, Mr. McLaughlin would have scared me to death. That is not in my humble opinion a good way to treat people. If in fact we need to mitigate, and I am not sure we do. We did not get very good information from him because he was doing this sales job for two hours.
Description of Work: Kenny McLaughlin, the President of Radon Solutions performed a digital 48 hour radon test on our newly purchased home.
