They first arrived about 45 minutes late. I had all boxes that they were to take packed already and had most of them in the garage along with a few pieces of furniture. When they arrived the two movers did an awesome job at understanding what I needed moved and started working. However, "the company man" would not let them load the truck and spent more time arranging everything then actually moving stuff. After about 5 hours they had finally gotten the truck loaded. The movers were dead tired from all the moving and re-adjusting and waiting. He proceeded to park farther from my door then I thought he should and when I mentioned moving the truck closer he said it was already there. They then started to unload. I watch the "company man" knock boxes off of stacks and stack large boxes on top of a basket and small boxes. I had a few boxes labeled fragile and should have taken them with me instead because I had 3 glasses break that are not replaceable as well as a few trinkets that I am going to have to try and fix. To top it all off they put the sofa in first thing that morning so it was the last thing off and the two men that were doing the actual moving were so tired they had trouble getting it up the stairs. They ended up damaging the railing and breaking a step guard during the process. The "company man" fussed at the movers but I don't think it was their fault and was not upset with them at all. I talked to the owner (at least that is how they referred to him) who said he would have someone call me the next week after the holiday and see about getting that stuff fixed. I never heard from him and have since did it myself. This was my first time using a moving company as we have always moved our selves and I am definitely not planning on using this one again. I could have moved everything myself in the time it took them and not broken anything in the process. Then when it came to getting the money "the owner" said that most people like the "company man" and that he was sorry that I wasn't happy. Then proceeded to tell me that he had taken off some of the driving time fee. This fee, however, was never mentioned when I called and was one reason why I went with this company. You would think that as the "owner" you would make sure you tell your customers all the fees involved. All in all a horrible experience and too much money to move 5 miles away.

They came for two days. One day to pack and the other day to move.

suggest that you bring Don out to assess/evaluate the move, he is helpful. paid for one extra man and one extra truck, cost more but the move went better. use there 'used' boxes etc saved money and time, they are very helpful with suggestions. breakage insurance is by the pound, damage table, $215 to repair, moving insurance paid $15. use MorningSide on National Ave for repair Do not use their suggested men-not good.

They did an excellent job. We haven't found anything that is broken or disturbed. We used the same two fellows, they did all the packing, moving, and unloading. It was complicated because we had three stops. They managed it very well so we're very pleased.

The company gave a realistic estimate for the move. The movers were overall good. A couple of minor instances of not knowing what was agreed upon from the estimate but overall very good and concientious of our furniture. In the pay off there was an minor issue and was resolved to my satisfaction in about 5 minutes regarding the fee for insurance. Overall would hire again without reservation.

Great experience! I got a quote over the phone without someone seeing what was there to move, which normally I wouldn't do, but didn't have a lot of time. I was really concerned that the actual amount charged would be a lot more than the quote, but it wasn't. It was within $100. The movers got to my new house when they said they would, and had everything unloaded within 4 hours or so. They didn't lose or break anything, and they were friendly and professional. I'd definitely use these movers again.
