POWERS TRANSMISSION CTR

Went great.  They were pleasant, professional and delivered on time.  Afterward we had a different problem that we thought was related.  They tested and checked, and tested again but could not find anything.  All without charge.  The repair is working great.
Be very careful with their hours though, tey do not keep the same hours as on their website.  I don;t know why they don;t think that's a big deal...
All is all everything  was great, and I will start using them for more routing repairs.

When you move from another state, one of the worst things is that you don't know what mechanics to trust. I'll let you know now not to trust these guys.
We went to them the first time to get our brakes done because one place seemed as good as the next and they were about two blocks away. When your car is on it's last legs, distance counts. They were nice enough to take me home and pick me up because I lived less than two miles away so I appreciated that. About the only thing I can say that was good about them.
They did our brakes and we were told they used new equipment but the next mechanic we took the van to said they were old and had been re-manufactured. We also had them do a check up and flush of our AC, then went back at the end of the summer because our AC wasn't working. Turned out that they broke some universal something inside of their when we'd given it to them before and they wanted to charge us $700 just to fix the one thing!
When we took it to another mechanic, he did some research and discovered that that part almost NEVER breaks on its own and he saw signs of tampering with it. Bottom line is, don't trust Powers Transmission to do anything but screw you over!

They gave us the lowest estimate on the service and labor. They were friendly and cooperative. The work was done exactly when they said it would be. They checked up with us about a month later to see if we were still satisfied. It is still working properly a year later!
