Shane Aldridge and his partner did a WONDERFUL job tiling our kitchen backsplash. He was very informative (which was especially helpful as first-time homeowners), highly skilled, and friendly. He provided professional design advice and realistic estimates for cost and labor timeline. After hearing other tilers' estimates, we were worried that we wouldn't find a tiler dedicated to professionalism and attention to detail at a reasonable price. After one call with Shane, we not only felt relieved but also gained more knowledge about the details of our tiling project--which none of the other tile estimators offered. Although they offered low costs, we knew we'd get what we paid for and we wanted a quality job. It is obvious that Shane has an eye for precision, values craftmanship, and is truly passionate about and prideful in his work. He was also punctual and efficient. I strongly recommend for tiling projects!!

I'm the most anal retentive person I know...quality of the job is the #1 most important thing to me. I got 4 bids including Shane Aldridge. Shane was highly recommended by Fergusons and I saw his work in Ferguson's show room. Shane's price was over twice as much as the other providers, however, I sensed I was paying for quality. Shane and his helper arrived on time and worked feavereslly until the project was complete. Shane personally performed the highly-skilled portions of the job. They even finished demo-ing the old floor because it turned out a much bigger task for me than I'd originally thought. Once the old floor was removed, we discovered that a 'light structural' solution was required. It was a real head scratcher. Shane delivered! He thought about it and came up with the perfect solution. Also, at no fault of his own, there was an issue with getting the new floor to match up to the old floor of the adjoining room. Again, another head scratcher. Shane delivered again! His solution included a piece of transition molding that he carefully and diligently carved and installed on a tilt. I'm still amazed that anyone would even think of that. He then went above and beyond to make a return trip to apply a grout sealant (no charge). We also hired Shane to install our stainless steel backsplash. Again, the lines and cuts are perfect. Shane is a scientist, an artist, and a true professional who takes great pride in his work. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him in the future. Regarding his price: I mentioned that his price was over twice that of others, but the way I see it, the other bids were less than half as much as his but I expect the quality would be less too. I would certainly rather look at perfection than imperfections for the next 20 yrs and this is how I easily justified the price.

After calling a number of other pros in town who didn't want to touch the disaster we had on our hands, Shane came by on one day's notice to take a look at the mess and spent a good 90 minutes evaluating the problem and going over the job in meticulous detail. A few days later, he provided us with a reasonable quote and we agreed upon a price. Shane is a busy guy, but he was able to start the job about a month later, which we were perfectly happy with. Once he was able to start, the job took about a week. He did a great job communicating with us every step of the way. He started by removing the entire shower pan, including the tile, backer board, plywood, existing bench, and the bottom row of tile on the wall of the shower. He then built out the floor to accommodate a new Wedi shower pan. The plumber roughed in a new drain pipe, and Shane installed the new pan as well as 1/2" Wedi board around the walls of the shower. We did 2x2 mosaic tile on the floor and were able to match existing 12x24 tile for the wall and curb. The problem with trying to redo a shower like this is that you may not be able to match the original tile and grout. In this case though, the tile and grout work is outstanding - you would have never known that this was a repair job and not the original work. Whether you are looking to install a new custom shower or you are unlucky enough to need some major repairs, Shane is your guy. He's a true professional and I highly recommend his work.

Shane did a beautiful job! Our project involved a pattern of travertine tile, glass tile and a paper faced mosaic. Shane was highly recommended and we agree. We didn't have an exact schedule for the work, but he worked us into his schedule and completed our project within the time frame we had discussed with him.

It went great, it was very good. This is my first experience with him, he explained everything to us and what he was doing. He was very knowledgeable about the work. He was also very prompt in response to our phone calls, I called him one day and he came the next.

Shane is always professional and takes the time to explain the process so even the most skeptical homeowner understands why it needs to be done the right way. He charges less than other reputable contractors who do not have the same attention to detail.

He demoed the pan and the first row of 12and quot; wall tiles. Made every effort to match new with old and the finish work is far superior than the original. Sorry I didn't find him on initial install.

Everything the previous review mentioned is exactly how Shane Aldrich performed for my job. Simply put, I am thrilled with the transformation of my small, master bathroom. It looks like something out of Metropolitan Home. Expensive? Given what we ended up with, we got our money's worth. My husband met Shane at a local home show two years ago and came home saying this is "our guy." We waited six months from the initial consultation until he could start. It was worth it. If you want someone who is enthusiastic, who will treat your home like his own, who is prompt, reliable, a craftsman, has great sub-contractors and helpers, then he's "your guy," too. We had an excellent experience.
