The company's employees arrived promptly as scheduled. They spent two full days doing prep work, and went far beyond our expectations in that regard. They were very professional and friendly. The painting was impeccably done the time promised. They were very considerate and maintained a clean workplace. Although it might be possible to find less expensive painters, it would not be possible to beat the price for the level of quality they delivered. We were very pleased with the company and its employees.

I got quotes from three different painting companies: $380 with no explanation of how the work would be done; $200 with some explanation; and My Three Sons' quote of $297 with a calm, detailed and clearly presented plan for treating the rust and painting the vent. Owner Keith Zafren kept in touch with me by phone and email before he went to my house; after he looked at this very small project when he again explained what he would do and when he planned to do it; after he got the first coat on (and sent pictures); and when the job was finished. He even sent a picture of my pathetic porch and offered to write a quote for staining. Keith requested a partial payment for the materials, and within a week, the job was done. HUGE IMPROVEMENT. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again. This is the second time I've used Angie's List for finding and contracting with a service provider, and I have been thoroughly pleased with both.

Keith came out and took some time explaining to me what they were going to have to do to repair our rotting soffits. His team, Randall and Keith, did a great job, were always professional and on-time, and so far the work looks and is holding up, great!! They even had to do some creative brainstorming to figure out a solution to a drainage problem I was having. Highly recommend!

After expertly matching the paint in the rest of the house with his swatches, he went to his vehicle and worked up a proposal for the job. It took about fifteen minutes for him to return, and we sat down to discuss the job. His price was a little more than others I had consulted, but I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for.” After talking it over, I felt that the price was fair and would indeed match the quality of the work. Additionally, he agreed, at no extra cost, to fix the minor problems that I had mentioned before. And, based on his schedule, the job could be done sometime around the end of July. I was fine with the arrangements. I had told him that I was a teacher in Fayette County, and it was important to get the job down at least by the first week of August as I would become extremely busy with the beginning of the school year, and it would be difficult to synchronize my schedule with his. Still, the timeline would work, and, as I stated before, I felt confident in his ability to do a good job. I asked him to give me some time to look over the contract, and that I would get back in touch with him very soon to give him the green light or not. Our meeting was on a Friday, I had decided to sign the contract and get things rolling the following Monday. On Sunday, however, Keith was putting his weekly schedule together, and he called me to see if I had made a decision. He could have someone over to start preliminary work on Wednesday. I told him that I had decided to go with him and his company. I made arrangements to get him a down payment, and we scheduled to meet again on Wednesday. Now, this is where my expectations went over the moon. Evidently, Keith had taken my concerns about having the job done before the school year began to heart. Yes, they came in on that Wednesday, but they did more than preliminary work. They got started on the job, and the entire thing was completed by that Saturday. (They even came in on Saturday to the do the job!) This demonstrates to me the professionalism of My Three Sons Painting, and it affirms their motto, “Your Satisfaction Is Our Motivation.” Again, I couldn’t be happier with the results. Keith and his staff were professional, polite, and prompt. I’m not sure that you can ask any more from a service provider. I will absolutely look to them again when I have other projects, and I will happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality work.

This is the third time that we have used My Three Sons Professional Painting and its work is consistently outstanding. We were most impressed by the time and detail spent on preparation in our combined kitchen/family room where previous careless spackling and a poor paint job had to be corrected. Services are not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for - the end result is high quality.

Since we were very pleased with the results when we used My Three Sons Professional Painting on a previous house, we contacted this company again for the exterior repainting for our new home. Keith gave use a detailed estimate and offered suggestions for painting that were helpful. He and his work crew, led by Mike, were professional and accomodating. Keith, the owner, was amazing. He was always on time, detailed with his assessment of the project, explained everything thoroughly, and was in contact with me regularly throughout the process. Best of all, Keith was able to schedule me in for the NEXT DAY - a SATURDAY since my project was fairly small and he had an employee willing to work a weekend. Keith came over the day painting began and went over the to-do list with the painter personally. He brought all of the supplies needed and checked in with me each day to make sure I was satisfied with the work. If I contacted him with a question, I heard back from him within minutes. You couldn't ask for a nicer, more professional guy. I felt like he genuinely cared that I was not only happy with the work, but the entire experience. I also felt that they made my time and schedule a priority. Ben, the painter who did the work was great as well. He showed up when he said he would, worked efficiently, was very neat, and was very courteous and polite. He did a wonderful job. Based on the above, I really have no reason to look for another painting company. I trust My Three Sons and plan to use them for all of our painting needs in the future.

We highly recommend My Three Sons Professional Painting; they recently completed a job that my husband had dreaded for several years. Our kitchen and dining room were wallpapered about 20 years ago and the paper definitely needed to go!!! It was a real eyesore. Keith gave us an estimate after thoroughly explaining the process they would use to remove the paper and prep the walls. We were very pleased with the detailed steps as he described what we could expect the final look would be. The contract we signed spelled out what our responsibilities were , what responsibilities they would assume and the time frame necessary to do a professional job. Keith introduced us to painters Manny and Omar on the first day and explained that they were self motivated and would do an excellent job. Keith came several times to check their progress , offer suggestions and answer any questions we had. Manny and Omar cleaned up each day before they left, worked quietly and were very polite and respectful. They did a beautiful job and in a timely fashion. The estimate we received at the onset of the project was very thorough and fairly priced. Keith walked through every room of the home with my wife and I to make sure he fully understood our expectations. We received daily updates on the status of the project. Keith was very prompt, professional, and compassionate as unexpected issues arose. All members of the My Three Sons crew were very professional and personable. Anytime I was at the house while the crew were working they introduced themselves with a handshake, told me they were excited about the project and asked about our plans for the home. The crew was very respectful of our time, money and belongings. The team took great pride in their work and seemed to enjoy transforming the home into a place my family and I are very proud of. Also, they seemed to enjoy working together, which is something I had not seen in a paint crew before. On top of that, they cleaned up after themselves! The initial project estimate was higher than others, however, the competing estimates were not detailed nor did they consider the repair work that would be required. Keith hand delivered the estimate and walked us through his approach. He immediately gained our trust. I am very glad that we chose My Three Sons Professional Painting. The quality of the work and the quality of the people involved on the project were worth every penny.

Keith is hands-down the best contractor I've ever worked with. He's prompt, communicates exceptionally well, very courteous and service oriented. His company motto is "Your Satisfaction is our Motivation", which is exactly how they operate. From my first call for an estimate through the final walkthrough after completion, Keith and his crew were top notch; on schedule every day, worked late as needed, accommodated changes, always acted as guests in our house. We desperately needed both the interior and exterior of our home painted before a large engagement party for our daughter and future son-in-law. We obtained detailed estimates from several painting contractors after face-to-face meetings with each to discuss our expectations for the job. My Three Sons Painting Co., while not providing the lowest estimate, was very competitive and impressed us with their knowledge, experience and ability to get right on the job. We couldn't have been happier with the final result. The job was done expertly, neatly and on time. In my 53 years I've never had anyone handle my painting needs as I was always able to handle these jobs myself. Due to recent health issues, I was unable to conquer the task myself this time and decided I may need to hire someone to assist. I reached out to many different painting contractors and the only one that returned my call was Keith Zafren.After meeting with Keith, not only did I feel comfortable with his abilities I felt even more at ease that having to hire someone was the right thing to do. My illness progressed soon after and I needed to delay the painting several times, yet instead of just pushing me aside, Keith not only understood, he stayed in contact with me to see how I was doing.The time finally came in May and I was doing better I was finally able to give Keith and his team the go ahead to start the project.Being the frugal and very detailed oriented person that I am I was very skeptical about this project being done to my standards and satisfaction. Man was I ever wrong and happy to report, the quality and workmanship of his team was well above what I had even hoped for. Keith introduced his team on the first day and allowed them to tackle the project themselves yet he did visit almost daily during the 2 weeks they were here. I am embarrassed to say I can't remember their names, but Ill never forget the compassion, caring and strong attention to our needs every single member of his team showed each day at my home. They arrived timely each day, worked on a holiday and even late into the evening several times to ensure they were able to work around my health needs and times I had to be away from the house. After a few days it was almost like having family here as I never once felt I couldn't trust any of his team while I wasn't present. The job took a little longer than expected but that was due to additional work that we decided was needed outside of the original estimate It's been almost 6 months since the job was completed and I am still amazed each day on how good the house looks and the amazing job his team did. I’ve always known, behind every good leader, there is a dedicated and strong team of employees. My Three Son's Painting is the best description of that statement. Keith is outstanding, yet his team is the true unsung hero's in my mind!I am happy, satisfied and honored to have met them all and I can assure you, you will be also. Keith and the crew of My Three Sons Painting are one of the most professional group of contractors I have ever used. They are very much perfectionists in their work and always go above and beyond what is asked of them. Their quote was higher than other prices we considered, but their recommendations were excellent and our confidence in them was great, so we decided to use their company anyway. Keith and his team of painters did a phenomenal job painting our entire first floor, which included covering and protecting our newly finished hardwood floors, stripping wall paper in one room, patching and sanding walls as needed throughout, and removing and re-installing door hardware, a toilet, electrical plates, etc. Keith did a great job sending us pictures and updates almost daily. Any issues we found, which were very few, they addressed quickly and professionally. The painters were very friendly and professional. The finished project was an incredible transformation of our home! We will have more painting projects in the future, and My Three Sons will be our contractor of choice.

My Three Sons did some extensive work for our church the summer of 2015. When the time came for us to have the basement floor scraped and painted the company went to the top of our list. We also asked them to stain and waterproof our handicapped ramp at the same time. They gave us a detailed bid of the work to be done and a very competitive price for both projects. Work was completed as scheduled and the transformation was amazing. Another great job was completed for us by My Three Sons. We recommend them highly at the Wilmore Presbyterian Church!

I found My Three Sons on the internet while looking for someone to repair water damage from a leaky roof. This repair was not just for painting - there was significant damage to the old lathing that old houses have. This damage was very significant particularly because it had occurred on a house built in 1908. My problem is that I am in Lexington only once a month and needed someone who was trust worthy and would do what they said they would do - without me there to supervise the works progress on a day to day basis. As one meets Keith, the owner, you can tell right away that he is a man of character and is honest. I saw the final results this past weekend while in Lexington and they are very nice. I highly recommend My Three Sons for any repair and painting needs you may have.
