"Thank you...We appreciate your review.."
"Thank you so much for the kind words!..We greatly appreciate the wonderful review!"
"So sorry we could not come to an agreement, however it is our policy to quote prices up front with no pressure. And we cannot accept a used toilet back into inventory. Again I apologize you were not pleased."

This was a huge project, and by the end they had done a great job. Their quote was slightly higher than some others, but their warrantee coverage is at least twice as long (2 years). We felt it was a very good price for the quality. They were quite patient and understanding of several smaller issues we felt other providers may have been dismissive toward--anytime we had a question or an issue, it was fully explained to us and then taken care of in an outcome we were content with. We were never made to feel as though our questions were an issue, and we didn't see annoyances when they happened (such as when they'd gone better than code and had to change a piece to appease Scott County code, which had to have been aggravating.)
The project itself was quite large and took quite a bit of time. The front yard was dug up to lay new drainage, and to change the supply line. All drainage pipes were removed from the house, and all supply lines were removed from the house (including in the walls). We had intended to change the location of the water heater while replacing it however, instead the current location was improved, which was a better solution all around. A total of two shower/tub combos were changed, and at least five faucets were changed. A new box was put into the wall behind the icemaker, and the dishwasher drainage was re-routed and updated (two things we didn't even know to request, and showed commitment to doing things the "right" way). Old holes in the foundation were filled in, and the sump pump routing was changed and expanded. Two new hose bibs were installed. Two toilets were changed from cast iron and integrated into the new drainage system. The septic tank in the back was knocked in and filled with rock. All disturbed earth was roughed in, then covered with hay and grass seed.
I would be remiss to not mention there were some timing issues at the beginning of the project, but they were well handled and the attention to detail more than made up for any issues that were incurred. The timing issues were large enough that I was relieved I had paid by the job. But again, the quality of work left nothing to be desired. I would happily suggest them to friends/family.
"Thanks so much for being patient and understanding during your job, you are right it was a very long and lengthy process but, the job turned out beautifully."

For the Washing Machine drain clog - all they were supposed to do was snake the drain so the washing machine could drain correctly. They snaked the drain, said it was OK and left. When laundry was done and washer began draining, water began seeping into the living room and this had never happened before. Unfortunately, I was out of town and relatives were at my house during this repair. They called me and I had to call Mr Rooter long distance. I asked if the repairman had tested the washer draining before he left and he said yes. I don't believe him. He did go back and look at the problem and said that the problem was a big one. That the repair was going to cost me a few thousand dollars to repair my old pipes and that I had an old house and that this was basically all my fault, not his. I think he punctured the pipe somewhere and doesn't want to admit that he screwed up. This will cost me money, no doubt, but it will not be going to Mr Rooter.
After the kitchen sink problem I should have known better than to call them again, but, I thought I should at least give them a second chance. Well, that second chance has left me without the use of my washing machine. If it does end up costing me a lot I hope it will go to someone who will do a good job the first time.
I do not recommend Mr Rooter to anyone. Overall, the work was not good and the prices are way too high.
"I am so sorry you were not pleased with our service."
Cameron came out (same technician who had replaced the faucet) and cleaned the dishwasher vent that's located at the sink. Did not charge me a penny!
For someone who knows nothing about plumbing and could have easily been taken, I so much appreciate Cameron's honesty and willingness to help me. Will definitely call Mr. Rooter and ask for Cameron again.
I called because of a stopped up sink and the need for a toilet valve.
Unstopping the sink the normal way did not work causing the man to search deeper for the problem. That led to the discovery of grease clogged pipes and the need for new pipes. The old pipes were 48 years old.
"Thanks so much for the positive review of our Company."
"Thanks so much for your positive feedback, it is appreciated."
The motorized snake was big and heavy, and despite Roy taking reasonable care, did scratch the freshly painted (narrow) hall when coming up the stairs. (Having a smaller snake available for small residential jobs would help prevent this.) Roy let me watch, and showed me the clog as he removed it. Apparently, the previous owners had a habit of flushing their dental floss -- not good. He was finished and *thoroughly* cleaned up within two hours of arriving.
Price seemed a little high for less than two hours onsite, *BUT*, he was available promptly after hours. I'd rather pay a little more for a job done right than leave a tenant without access to a toilet for a day or more, waiting for a plumber. So no regrets.
"Thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate that you took the time to review our company."
In addition to taking up my entire morning and scaring me to death about replacing the pipe, the young plumber left my tub, bathroom floor and hallway floor filthy. He also sold me an neccesary maintenance plan, explaining that I would make my money back immediately with the job he was going to do for us. My husband call the Mr. Rooter office and discussed what had transpired. Eventually I was credited for the maint. plan costs AND the cost of the service call. In the end it is unclear if the plumber sent to my home was just young and inexperienced, or whether he was trying to take advantage of a person who had minimum knowledge of plumbing repair.
"I am truly sorry that you didn't have a good experience with our company. We have taken the necessary steps to improve our service. The Service Technician was spoken to concerning the situation and he understands where he went wrong."
I was amazed, he had to snake out a drain, the clog was approximately 40 to 44 feet down the drain and it was going to cost me over $200.
Well it is fixed and warrented for 6 months but I will be going to by a 50ft snake for the next time.
"So sorry for the bad experience with your plumbing problem. However, you have the wrong plumbing company. I have searched our system for your name and address and we have never been there. Just thought I would let you know. Thanks so much!"
"Thank you"
