MINI MAIDS OF LEXINGTON

I really needed my baseboards cleaned and my window sills. The yucky stuff that builds up over time. The ladies (4) arrived in a very prompt manner. They got right to work. They split the duties and seemed to work well together. I did point out what I needed done and they seemed to understand. It took them about an hour to complete the work, which seemed very fast to me. I ran an inspection after they were done and asked if they were kidding. They claim to clean appliances. My fridge looked like it had been wiped with a dry cloth and made the top of it just pill up. She cleaned my stove which didn't even need it at all. The window and door in my kitchen didn't looked wiped at all. One of the things they're supposed to do is clean the fronts of the cabinets. I still feel sticky stuff all over them. I don't know whose standards they are going for but I was very dissappointed. Especially for 150 when I was quoted 120. I'll find someone, someday who can do it right...I just know I will.

The work was professional, but in spite of being told they did baseboards they did not, and when I asked the lady in charge said they don't normally do baseboards. Still, they did them on request. They did not wipe down the walls nor clean the ceiling fans or dust the blinds. They did an excellent job on the countertops, and appliances and in the bathrooms except for the baseboards and behind the toilets. I was disappointed in the person in charge saying "we don't do this and don't do that" and some of those items being those proactively stated as things included in what they are supposed to do by the person that I spoke with when making he appointment. I was also disappointed in not receiving a call back asking how they did or if we wanted to schedule a regular cleaning, which said to me that they weren't too interested in repeat business.

There were four of them and some of them did better jobs than others. There were bookshelves that were not touched at all and the blinds were dusted half way down. I could have done more than the four of them in an hour if I was able. I have never had anyone clean my house before so I cannot compare them to anyone. I was disappointed.

When I called the guy was very friendly. They scheduled a visit promptly and the women arrived when scheduled. However, I was told that I'd pay $120/hour for four women and only three showed up. Thus, the estimated 45 minutes to an hour was actually one and a quarter hours. I was also told they would call the next day to ensure I was satisfied with the service, and nobody called. In fact, I haven't heard from them since they cleaned our house. As for the actual work, my husband and I do a better job ourselves. Their vacuum is not very good, and I re-vacuumed after they left. The bathrooms were done nicely, as was the mopped floor.

Overall best quality and price. This is the third house cleaning company we are hiring, others were either too expensive or very poor service, this one is right on target. Quality of service is good and price is competitive.
