Property Management, Real Estate Service
Maggard Property Management provides relatively prompt and professional serivce with the unfortunate exception of price. They consistently overcharge for repairs and maintenance. After taking the time to obtain quotes from other vendors for specific services I found that the prices I was being charged were generally 75-100% above the actual cost of the service. In other words I was paying roughly twice as much as it actually cost to get the work done.
When there have been unexpected repairs to be completed (which suspiciously happened all the time) they generally went forward without permission so that it was more difficicult for me to argue with the prices and get other vendors to do the work because it was already done.
The quality of the work seemed sound but in essence they used my property like an ATM machine and I saw virtually none of the rental income for the duration of their management.
