Longwood Antique Woods

We replaced our vinyl and carpeted flooring with Shepard's Oak flooring, which is weathered tobacco barn siding. We found this company at a home and garden show in Lexington, Kentucky. I cannot be more pleased with how our flooring now looks! This wood floor is more beautiful than any other floor I have ever seen. There is just no comparison! This company is so nice to work with, and the installation was perfect. At first I thought it was a little pricy, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Afterwards, we looked at wood floor prices and found that it was not expensive at all. We found that the cheap, thin hardwood flooring at one of the home improvement stores was almost the same price as Longwood. This flooring is very thick and harder than what you would find at other flooring stores. It is so beautifully aged and it did not require stain, only polyurethane. I plan on replacing my existing wood flooring in my entry and also the carpet in my living room, dining room, and library in the near future.
