1. A paper copy of the design was received approximately eight weeks from when the order was placed.
2. Four weeks later it was discovered that only one footer had been dug and poured. Lexington Granite Company was contacted and eventually went back to cemetery to complete the tasks of pouring 2 more footers.
3. When the three monuments were installed, 2 of the 3 were placed in the wrong order. A detailed drawing showing correct order had been given to the company at the time the initial purchase was made.
4. All 3 monuments were partially off of their foundations.
5. A month later a bill was sent, indicating to the buyer that work had been completed. After viewing the monuments at the cemetery, payment was promptly sent.
6. Remaining half of the bill was cashed by Lexington Granite was 9/9/2015.
7. A second bill was received on 9/14/2015, which showed that 1/2 of the balance was still due. WHAT?
Major problems: Communication seemed to be a major problem throughout this entire ordeal. One group of people didn't receive adequate, timely instructions from the manager(s). Therefore the quality of work, supervision, completion of each phase were all unsatisfactory.
Bottom line: Don't rely on Lexington Granite Company to do work on any monument. Search for another, more reliable company.
