I was prescribed a chemical peel for my entire face, which I felt was drastic for one small red bump. I went to another dermatologist for a second opinion, who said not to use it.

The name of the dermatology nurse is Jane McQueen and she’s with Dr. Roth. They do an excellent job with whatever you need. They are very experienced with what they do and their quality of work is excellent.

Every one was helpful. The doctor showed up promptly, and made a diagnosis, but left somewhat quickly. Treatment was somewhat effective, but took a little longer than predicted.

Researched a Dermatologist because I have never seen one. Made an appointment, specifically, with Dr. Smith. I arrived at 8am. waited without anyone to help me for three minutes, so I rang a bell that was shoved off to teh corner of the window behond some pamphlets. two ladies showed up, eating their breakfast and took my insurance card and co-pay. The receptionist gave me forms to fill out. I was taken back to a room where the nurse was nice and helpful. waited for a while in the exam room, where I could hear a loud man's voice cutting up and talking to the staff for ten minutes while I wanted. Sure enough, when he was done, that voice opened the door and stepped in as my doctor. His name was Dr. Roth. I was so tired of waiting, that I didn't point out that i had specifically made an appointment with a different MD. He looked at my rash for two seconds. didn't even touch it, and declared it psorieses. he saw me for two minutes. no cutting up or casual discussion like i overhead in the hallway. he left, nurse gave me a shot and prescription. I have zero confidence in the diagnosis. he ask no questions... and I dont even know who he is. I researched and picked the Doctor I wanted to see and made an appointment with him specifically. If they sent in Dr. Roth because Dr. Smith was running late or had fallen ill, I should have at least been givena courtesy notice, rather than think I wouldn't notice the name difference. I haven't decided if I am going back in three weeks for the check up. I wonder what doctor will even perform the check up?! the one I made an appointment with, or the one who saw me today? I'm disapointed.

I was very pleased with the care I received. The only negative I could find is that the front desk staff could have acted a little happier to be there, but they weren't rude or anything. The doctor was timely, and I barely waited for him. Once he was in the room he seemed very knowledgeable about the condition and sympathetic to its effects on a person. He went out of his way to have his staff look into payment assistance options for the treatment if it were to turn out that my insurance couldn't cover it. I hope to continue working with Dr. Roth.
