Ken Towery's Tire and Auto Care

On July 4, the tire went flat on our truck. We went ahead and got a new set of tires after getting towed to Ken Towery's on Broadway. After 1 week, and less than 135 miles of driving the rear left wheel fell off while towing an excavator, and with 1600 lbs of concrete in the bed. I am absolutely astounded by how a company whose job is tires could completely forget to torque the lugs on BOTH rear tires.... We have simply asked for them to fix the tires, we aren't even asking for the extensive damage to the truck be repaired at this point, but they have been giving us the run-around for days now, and it's time to get lawyers involved. Avoid this establishment like the plague they are.

I had my car towed here when it died and AAA couldn't get it started. They told me I needed a new serpentine belt, which was a lie because I had a new one installed only a few months before. They replaced the battery and fuel pump. Only a couple of days later, I was stranded with a dead car again. A Good Samaritan helped and told me the shop had stripped the bolt in the battery when installing it. I took the car back, and was told they couldn't fix it for several days because they were booked out, even though they made a mistake . Terrible service.

I chose this location because they had the best price by a few dollars on the Hankook tires I wanted and because they are in a convenient location. I went in near the end of the day and was assured they would get everything completed before closing. The bad started when I noticed one of the technicians back the truck out of one bay and drive to another with my tire rack dragging on the ground. The next party foul was when another person parked my truck with one of my brand new tires smack against the curb.
The sales person did provide a discount because of the tire rack dragging and came out to see what was wrong when I backed my truck away from the curb and got out to inspect the tire. I think he also offered to adjust the cost even further. He told me several times he wanted me to be happy. I will be obliged to go here in the future to get my free tire rotations. Hopefully I can update this post the future with a better report.

Went in thinking I had a bit more serious problem that I thankfully didn't. They were extremely helpful, and did the job in a timely manner to my satisfaction.

My mom bought me 4 new tires for Christmas...very generous gift. I took my car to Ken's because it's close to my house and they seemed very nice.
I feel like they over charged for the tires and alignment. They didn't mention that the alignment was $200 extra until we got the bill. It seems like when you buy 4 brand new high performance tires you ought to get treated pretty well. I feel duped.

They didn't have the tire I needed in stock at this particular location so they offered to send me to another location or reschedule. I rescheduled and they applied a discount upon my return. I encountered an issue with my brakes squealing shortly after having them replaced and they inspected and corrected upon next visit free of charge. Clean grounds and staff is friendly.
