Jiffy didn't repair the tool but sent it to SBD for repair. Then Jiffy charged a $ 20.00 repair fee because they sent it to SBD. Plus a shipping fee to return the tool to me. I should have sent it to Stanley Black and Decker directly and there would be no repair fee and no return shipping fee. Cost me $ 37.00 when it should have been free from SBD. If Jiffy is going to send warranty repairs to the MFG and then charge the customer they should tell you up front when you call and not surprise you with charges after the repair. I guess it is better to ask if there will be charges before you send tools to them for repair.
