Ion Construction LLC

I was not very happy with Ion Construction. The man who did the tile was not very careful and he had sloppy workmanship. There were a lot of problems like the margins not being even. They put drywall on the existing frame work of the walls but they did not check to make sure that the walls very straight. With the paneling we could not tell that the walls were wavy but once they put the drywall on it was obvious. They should have straightened the walls out before they put the drywall on there. We had some problems with the plaster guys. Their work was less then ideal. They mudded over a lot of our electrical sockets. They mudded them over so thickly that the fixtures would not fit correctly so we had to grind down, trim and straighten a lot of things. It was a sub par job. I would not recommend them and if I had the choice I would not have used them. Tommy, who is the President of Ion Construction, is a very nice fellow and he presents himself well so I would have to say that he is a pretty professional guy. His problem was a lack of attention to detail and not being on top of the work. He should have picked up on the fact that the walls were not straight before he slapped all of that drywall on there.
