"We successfully sold this home in under a week at 98.49% of the list price. When the sellers left town right after the home inspection repair list was agreed upon, we stepped in and initiated the repair process. This included getting estimates for a heating/cooling issue, a door/water problem, plus a small leak in the basement. So we called all of the appropriate tradespeople, arranged to get them into the house, and then collected estimates on all of the work to be done. Coordinating these details with several workers took quite a bit of time, so we definitely went above the normal Realtor responsibility of just providing the Sellers with a list of tradespeople. Due to Kentucky law regarding disclosure, we were legally not able to defend certain things that may have led the Sellers to feel abandoned. We would never abandon our clients and are sorry they interpreted the situation this way. We take great pride in our customer service and support. The large majority of our clients have been very pleased with our services. Fortunately a situation, such as that above, is quite rare, however, we are always looking for ways to improve our service.
