Hamburg Painting Services

The front-man for Hamburg Painting Services (provided the estimate along with an explanation of how the work would be performed) sold me on his explanation, which covered all the bases. Unfortunately the work performed did not live up to the hype. The foreman spent the majority of his time on his cell phone talking to his significant other for all to hear; therefore there was very little supervision. Both doors had problems, the sliding screen door was not put back on improperly and the front door lock was put back on upside down. On the back-side of the house the interior of the windows had exterior paint on them, apparently the painter had used it as hand-hold and left behind beige paint on white windows. Additionally, I had the windows, soffit, and fascia boards covered with vinyl and was shown by the installer less than a month after the painting service where the painters had painted some parts of the window frame on one and then did not paint it the same on other windows. I discussed these issues with the company's representative and she said she would send a warranty correction to me. This consisted of the company's front man, the foreman, and his crew. I was not there, but my wife was and according to her the front-man did nothing but complain that these were not their problems and was less than professional in discussing it with my wife. The front-man called me and said the painting was fine and essentially denied painting the areas which were in dispute of being uniform from window to window. Then he asked me where the paint was, I told him we were not given any paint following the work, but he asserted we had to have it. I was there when the work was complete and no one gave us any paint. I am not at all pleased with their behavior following the work and would not recommend them for painting services.
