.Geeks playing with other peoples stuff.  I've been a computer user and programmer since 1983.  Yes 1983 and these folks were off the wall.Took laptop to them and asked them to replace DVD R/W drive as it was begining to fail.  Instead they launched into some software hunt which then caused my computer to lock up and corrupted files and my Norton anti-virus.  They loaded some maalware soft ware which then made the computer worse.  All of which took weeks; yes WEEKS  When I asked them if they'd replaced the DVD drive as requested they said no they had not even ordered it.After I insisted they do what was asked and they put the new drive in the laptop the drive worked fine.  The computer itself, which had never been at issue, not so much.

Ultimately the computer was fixed and in perfect working condition after the 3rd attempt!

They were very honest and told me that my computer could not be upgraded to the point I required and that they did the most that could be done. They then suggested I could get what I wanted directly from the internet and that it would be less expensive than if I had them build me one. I asked for and estimate anyway. They sent it e-mail and it was more expensive than the net so I purchased my computer directly from the HP website. They were physically helpful to bring in and take out my computer to the car. They were very polite and spoke in a manner that an inexperienced computer person like myself could understand.

We called Gorrell's, and they ordered the necessary replacement fan based on the specs we gave them over the phone. When the part arrived, they called us right away, we took the PC in, and they had the fan installed the same day (within 3-4 hours). In addition, they fixed a network error message we had been getting for several months.

This company has provided computer support for my business and home since 1991. Their service has always been excellent.
