Initially, AVAC system installed 10/2022. We elected to have FHS do the work since work performed on our plumbing was excellent. Then even against advice from friends and family we decided to have FHS installed the HVAC. Not until March/April 2023 did we attempt to use the HVAC. If failed to turn on. Reason: algae plugged a drain which prohibits a float switch to permit the HVAC system to work. The system should not have had algae since we had never turned it on till 6 months later. Five times or more till May 2024 we continued to have this issue. Cost to date was $450.04 to temporarily address issue. FHS said we needed to purchase a $90 tablet every 3/4 months to prevent this from happening. The one time we did, it became plugged up within 7 weeks. Furthermore, we paid for "Comfy House Inspection" fee of $19.95 each month with assurances to address any issue with plumbing, heating, & air conditioning. No time in this period was there another countermeasure suggested to fix our problem. This last time in May 2024 the technician said our return had fell off the HVAC system & another flex line had become detached. Tried to work with FHS, they failed to contact us within a week of emailing and calling. FOOTNOTE: all duct work is not covered under the warrantee only the hardware for cooling. Today, we cancelled comfy house and using those monies to pay another HVAC company to fix their mistakes & bilking us for money with a sham scheme to sell you algae tables which were never disclosed to us before our purchase. They can not be trusted to do the smallest of the right things, so how should you trust them to do the bigger thing. Listen to friends and neighbors, call around, get quotes, ask questions and just maybe you won't be hoodwinked like we were. Most of all insure the warranty covers not only the hardware but the supporting items that should be covered for more than 30 days from installation. By the way, the last 5 star ratings they managed to receive were in 2021.

They sent a 2-man crew who arrived on time, no problem there, but they looked at my furnace filter and went immediately into a sales pitch for the electronic air filter system that they sale. I explained that I did not want another electronic system, I wanted a throw away filter system. He continued with the sales pitch, even showing me colorful brochures. I asked if he would be able to do the job or not, "can you replace this filter housing with a simple replaceable filter housing?" He shook his head and said "no, but I can take out your electronic filter and slide a disposable filter in, but you're much better off with our electronic filter system, it's the best." It sounded exactly like the sales pitch I got 10 years ago, that salesman assured me his was the best back then too. They are all junk that will work you to death keeping them clean. I explained that I'd tried putting a disposable filter in the existing electronic filter housing but that it won't work because there is no throw-away filter that will fit the large opening of the electronic housing. He kept insisting that all my problems would be solved if I let them replace my housing and electronic cleaner with their electronic filter. He handed me the brochures asking me to think about it and call him when I was ready to let him put it in. Then he charged me $89 for a service call! I reminded him that he said he can't do the job, he can't replace my filter system with a disposable filter system. He started speaking in broken English again so I gave up and wrote the check just to get them out of my house. I'd used this company in years past at some of my other properties with good results. I'm not sure if they're under new ownership or what, but I won't be using them in the future.

After having received a VERY expensive estimate from another company ($3720 to $8108 to repair my AC, vs. $8750 to replace it) I called Fayette Plumbing, Heating and AC. (The other company had discovered that my AC was "frozen up" but hadn't done any work yet.) Fayette is not in on Sundays, so I contacted them early on a Monday morning. They sent someone out later that same morning, and that courteous and professional person explained details that I never knew before about AC systems- e.g., some leaking of refrigerant is normal over time even if you don't really have a leak that needs to be repaired. (The last time refrigerant had been added to my AC system was 6 years ago.) He also patiently answered my questions. Pretty much while we were talking, he checked for leaks at some of the usual problem spots (didn't find any) and then added two pounds of refrigerant to my system. Voila! That was 17 days ago and so far my AC has been working perfectly. SO, I paid this company $140 to fix a problem that another company was going to charge between $3720 and $8750 for!!!

Very well. Two smart and courteous men came and fixed all of the issues. They were only there for about an hour and I was very happy with the work they had done. I also though the bill was reasonable considering that there were 2 men repairing 3 issues and the parts cost $36. Thx

We have always been totally satisfied with their work, cost and responsiveness. Good company. My date and cost are approximate, but we have used them many times and they are always the people we call.

They seemed in a little bit of a hurry when they came out one time. They were very professional.

Installers were professional and courteous. It took a little longer than I would have liked to get a call back from them (misplaced paperwork was their reason), but overall I was happy with the work done.

We have been using them about 10 years. We belong to a club that they have and they do a good job for us. I pay them about $120.00 a year for belonging to that club. When we have a problem they come right out. One time the air conditioning quit and on a day we were going to Nova Scotia, they came right away and we were able to go to Nova Scotia the same day and they fixed it. When I really needed them to come they came. The worse thing they ever do is try to change the date of their semi- annual check up on my cooling and heating thing. I get it set for one day and then they will call me up and say can we change that. They want to do it 2 and 1/2 months later, I say no. I say no you can't do that so they don't. When I needed to have my water heater done they had replaced my water and I think they charged me about $300.00. I think you can probably and i'm guessing this find cheaper places but they do what they say they're gonna do and do a good job.
