I have recently purchased laptop that required a diagnosis as a result of me dropping it on the floor. The touchpad randomly failed to work, along with KB, and none of my USB ports would respond. To get the laptop to function again, I had to do a hard shutdown. I did a restore to an earlier date, system recovery, and system restore to factory reset. None of these resolved my issue.
Andrey ran a series of tests on the HDD (passed) and then discovered that the motherboard was at fault. Since it was dropped, the warranty was voided. However, my insurance company would replace it, provided I had an estimate of repair. Andrey happily obliged.
I will definitely return to his business should I require work on my tablet or next computer. Thank you again Andrey.
Then, long story short, after trying and failing to install a new router on my system, my internet stopped and wasn't working no matter what I did. I know a little bit about computers but I was completely stumped. I brought it in and he tried to fix it right there on the spot, again trying to save me the minimum fee, but he couldn't. I left it overnight and he called first thing in the morning to tell me it was fixed.
He fixed stuff in the areas I usually avoid, waiting for someone smarter than me to do it, he blew out all the dust, he fixed the heat sink and processor fan that the last idiot I went to (stay tuned for my bad review of him) reinstalled wrongly. Then, lastly, he fixed the fan that I had put in backwards the last time I was in there. <blush>
All this was just about $40 over the minimum price. I sure do appreciate all the work he did and his polite and courteous service. I will return again when my noodling around breaks something some day. :-)
I dropped the computer off on 7/14 and picked it up on 7/15. When I picked up the computer the Owner turned on our computer and fully explained what services he had performed. He explained about spyware and great software to buy to protect our computer. He was also thoughtful enough to load a great anti-virus program on our computer that was free (from Microsoft and worked great with the Vista system that runs on our computer). He was professional, clear and concise. He answered each of my questions. He wanted to make sure I understood what services had been performed on the computer before I left the store.
The computer now runs better than ever and all of our documents were saved and we are able to use the computer again!
Andrey Rozmaity, the owner, came to my home in the evening of the day I contacted him. He was very professional and pleasant to work with, besides being really knowledgeable. I will use him again should the need arise.
