Took my mini-van over there to have them look at a few things. They didn't tell me when I scheduled the appt or while I was there that they'd charge for the diagnostic review. They hit me with the $230 charge after I showed up and explained the problems. Then they call later in the day and explain that they would need an additional $300 to continue their investigation of why the check engine light is on. I just can't fathom spending $530 just to have the car looked at and have them explain what's wrong and how much more it would cost to get everything fixed. Beware!!!

I had an okay experience with them. They charged us $150 for diagnostics and then just ended up replacing the battery. And we've had it back in since then with the same problem and they keep telling us nothing is wrong, but the car is still doing what we initially had it in for.

Decided to purchase wiper inserts directly from DJs parts department to save on shipping costs and time. I was charged $27 for two inserts. After purchasing, I went online to price the items for future reference. Turned out that DJs had charged me TWICE the list price. I promptly returned the inserts to DJ and bought them online for $13 shipped. I will not be using DJs services anymore for fear that they mark up all parts, including much more expensive ones. By way of comparison, our local Toyota dealer charges precisely suggested retail - if I price a part online, I know exactly what I will pay at the dealer. To DJ's credit, they did reimburse me - no questions asked.

They got me in with a little hassle but overall nice people. Got my repair while I waited but the waiting room was very busy. No charge because it was a recall but they did try to and quot;offerand quot; me some additional repairs. I bought my car from them so I would go back if needed for another recall repair.

My car was rear ended causing damage to the bumper and muffler. I selected Don Jacobs Paint and Body to handle the repair work and overall I had an excellent experience. The estimators were easy to work with and got me in and out very quickly. After the estimate, they ordered the parts and scheduled a time for me to bring the car back for repair. After dropping my car off, repairs were completed a day ahead of schedule and the back of the car looks perfect.

I was hit in a Kroger parking lot by an elderly man. Both cars were drivable. I immediately took my car (BMW525I) to Don Jacobs Body Shop. They had done repairs for me in the past. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, efficient, an professional. The parts were ordered, the shop called me when the parts were in. I did have to arrange my own rental care even though I have renters insurance on my auto policy. The car was delivered with in a day or two of when it was promised.

My check engine light came on after a long trip and the engine was behaving strangely. I call Don Jacobs Honda, described the problems over the phone, and scheduled an appointment for later that afternoon. They took it for a test drive, read the fault code from the engine controller, cleared it, then test drove it again. They described what they experienced during the test drives and gave me the fault code description.

Got a quote from Don Jacobs and other body shops in town. Don Jacobs was one of the lowest and I felt that the communication and professionalism was the best of the shops I talked with. I dropped my Honda CRV off on a Thursday evening (this was the easiest for me). They worked on the vehicle friday and the following Monday, picked it up Tuesday afternoon when I was available. Work was done well, vehicle drives great again! Ryan kept me apprised of the work with a call on Friday and again on Monday to let me know everything was on schedule as we had discussed.

This company is awful in customer service. We have been extremely loyal customers of Don Jacobs for many years. We recently purchased a used acre SUB (with a 90 day warranty on it) there this summer and a couple of weeks after purchasing it we noticed the a/c was blowing hot air and not cooling. I spoke with the sales person and he said yes its covered under the warranty take it to the service department. The service department tells us that it is NOT covered under the 90 warranty and it will cost $825.00 to fix. We tried speaking to the sales managers and continuously got the run a round. One manager, Steve wouldn't even take our phone call only telling us we were out of luck to the salesman, he didn't have the professionalism to speak to us himself. I understand that the warranty did not cover the a/c (even though we were under the impression when we purchased the car that it was a full warranty) however, since it was mere weeks since we purchased it I think they should have done something, and there is no need for rudeness, not to mention I thought they sold quality used cars that have been looked at and serviced before selling them! We are VERY unhappy with the personnel and customer service at Don Jacobs and we will not be back.

Dealer is weak on servicing/standing behind their car once off warranty. They sell BMW 530 that should drive 200,000 plus miles, but yet put on 80,000 mile catalytic converter on it knowing the part replacement cost is $3000. Build a better converter so a 6 year old BMW customer doesn't leave with a bad taste.

We were going to pay cash for the new car. The sales manager, Mark Allen said we would have to pay for the car two weeks before the car would actually be delivered. We did not think that was good business practice and wanted to wait and make sure it was exactly what we had ordered. After explaining to them why we made that decision they told us that we would have to finance the car and then pay it off. They gave us a final price. When we went to go pay it off, the finance company wanted more money.
