The workers showed up when scheduled and planted the tree where I wanted. The leader of the job answered all of my questions and did a professional job. They also cleaned up the driveway when finished.

The crew arrived as scheduled and the work completed in 20 minutes. The tree branches and truck were completely disposed of and the street was swept clean of debris. I was very happy with the work done.

We have used Dave Leonard Tree Services before and have always been pleased with their work, but the result this time was dramatic. Our maple tree, otherwise healthy and providing shade to our house, had been "topped" by a previous owner. When a main branch splintered and barely missed hitting our house, we discovered a disfigured system of branches instead of a healthy branching system and worried that the tree could not be saved. Ross Raterman assured us that a careful pruning could alleviate a lot of the stress caused by the previous topping and save the tree. The results were amazing - a normal branching system emerged and stressed limbs no longer threatened our fence or our neighbors' house. I only wish we had taken "before" pictures!

Overall, he was great. His prices might be a little high, but he is an arborists as well as an tree guy. He probably charges more because of his expertise. He does a great job though.

Very professional and understanding of my need to get the tree removed since it was leaning against my house. Very professional in my opinion. I would call them again.

They came when they said they would. They did a fine job and cleaned up the yard after the work was done.

Quality of work is good but communication is a problem.  For the tree trimming, they did not come at a time requested and didn't look at all that needed to be done.  This required another visit for an estimate but then the work was satisfactory.  The organic lawn care seems to be slowly improving the lawn.

Peter Stutts is very knowledgeable  and did a outstanding job of explaining the care of our current landscape and gave us quite a few suggestions on plants/trees we could add to enhance our landscape.  Peter spent quite a bit of time patiently explaining our options and was very prompt and professional.  The scheduling with the office was less smooth a lacked proper communication.  We never got confirmation once we emailed the contract and phone calls were not returned  when we left messages.   We were quite satisfied with the quality of work and have already hired this company to perform work in early summer 2014.

Although it took longer than expected for them to get to my house, they did a wonderful and quick job trimming the trees.  Very professional and cleaned up everything.

It was not satisfactory. I didn't feel like they monitored the situation well enough in terms of providing us information on how to care and so forth for the trees. It just didn't go very well. We thought we would get a little more service and attention than what we did.

First called for estimate to have pruning completed on several large trees in our yard.  They arrived on time for estimate and appeared to be very thorough.  We love our trees and didn't want any excess taken off and this seemed to be their philosophy also.  Hired to complete the work.  Separate person provided estimate than completed the work but was there initially to point out to workers what the estimate had entailed.  The workers were faster than expected and did a great job cleaning up after themselves.  After they left, everything looked better.  They did what they said they would do.  A few days later a different person arrived to treat one tree for pests. 
We had a great experience with this company and would definitely use them again.

They have done tree planting for me as well as tree treatments to maintain the health of existing trees.  They have also used an air knife for the soil around the trees for preserving the roots.  I think they are reasonably priced for the work done.  They are not cheap but worth every penny.  They really know what they are doing.

My experience went well with Dave Leonard consulting.  Both ash trees showed signs of emerald ash borer damage.  They recommended treating one tree, while the other tree was on the verge of "beyond repair" and I was given the option of cutting down or attempting to treat.  I wanted to keep both trees so I chose to treat both trees.  Their service was quick, accurate, and as described.  The treatment may take a couple of years to really show improvement in the trees, and also requires re-treatment every 2 years, so I cannot speak to whether the treatment worked or not, but I am overall pleased with this experience.

It was the first time we had used them. They did a great job. They were very knowledgeable. They do everything they can do save/protect the tree before cutting it down. They are very reliable.

I trust him. I was very sad to loose my tree but I trusted him. He knows his stuff and he knows what he is doing.

They always do a wonderful job.  They have a great deal of knowledge and they do try to be as green in their approaches as they can be.  They use environmentally friendly products as much as possible when they need to treat a disease in the plants.

Their service was great.  They know what they’re doing.  They know their species.  When they do work on the trees they make sure to follow proper safety procedures.

What they did was great. We had also requested a call back abut some additional work and never received the returned call. Not returning the call was not professional.

He will provide good service.  He is knowledgeable.  I would recommend him.
