Critter Control/Truly Nolen of Cincinnati & Ky

This company has changed ownership, practices, and prices since the last time I hired them. But they did take care of the animal in my wall, although for a much steeper price. I want to give an outstanding review to William and Nathan, who did the actual work. They listened to me, believed me, and didn't treat me like an idiot. They worked out a way to do things to meet my preferences. They did great work, and the problem is taken care of, the holes repaired. Even 12 inches of snow didn't stop them. The office people were good too, always helpful.

Megan of ARC Insect and Animal Control inspected the attic, etc. for possible point of entry. She fixed an opening along the gutter and set a trap on roof. She checked on it daily. They didn't return, so she put in a new roof vent. I was happy with her work. She seemed very knowledgeable and professional.

It went well. One squirrel removed from the basement, and the other removed from the roof.

The bat removal was great. Everything that followed was terrible. The office has no communication with the field. The technician that came back to do the home inspection left my attic open so that another bat got in the house. Absolutely refused to hire this company for the repairs after the huge hassle I went through. Completely incompetent billing department. save your self a headache, call someone else.

He might have been there, but he had left by the appointment. The technician was very honest with me, offered to still do services, but also offered to leave and not charge me for anything. I went ahead and had him check around and he was very thorough and professional.

We'd been dealing with birds creating nests in our cedar siding and had not had much luck with other companies, either in the quality of the work or the results. We were very pleased with the responsiveness, the professionalism and how quickly they took care of the problem. We paid for a complete inspection (which a lot of companies hadn't done) and analysis and were told what we needed and what we didn't. We received a detailed analysis and estimate for any work to be done and could choose what we wanted to have done. The work was done promptly and very well and we haven't had a problem since. Finally! If we ever have any critter or insect problem ever again I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Their prices were more than fair for the work done and very competitive. They showed up on time, too.

Great! The unwanted squirrels had taken up residence in my box gutters. The first day a pregnant female was removed ....then the rest of family quickly joined her. Great family owned business.

fine. they caught a juvenile norway rat & the problem is over. their guy seemed....a but unsure of himself and talked....a lot.....but he was thorough and checked around for other signs. yay, none. its a bit expensive, but then i dont have a rat eating my car anymore. they set traps & came peomptly when i said theyd caught the creature. only mixup was when i said we were done - i could tell there werent anymore & they came 8 hours later but that wasnt really a problem for me cuz i left the traps outside for them

The service was fine. We had raccoons so we ended up getting a new roof and soffits, and once those were put in place we could kind of see that it was working.

They did a great job with the removal and repaired the displaced siding on the house where they were gaining entry. The guy who did the work was considerate and very nice to work with. I would recommend them to anyone needing critter removal assistance.

did not have the work done. After explaining the ridiculously high price - $199 to set traps then $79 for each mole removed, Mark hung up on me.

The overall experience was a very expensive disappointment. John was pleasant and polite and took a lot of time "inspecting". He recommended that we needed to control the mice around our rural property and that would remove the food source for the black rat snakes. He said he would place 4 large bait stations outside our home and small bait stations in the garage and garage attic. However, he only had large bait stations on his truck. He placed the large bait stations and left assuring us that "someone from the office" would call to schedule a return with the small bait stations.

We waited two weeks but no one called. So we called the office and asked about our small bait stations. With no apology for their lack of follow-up they scheduled the second appointment. John returned and for an additional $150.00+ we had small bait stations. The total for the original trip plus the second (which we had to arrange) was over $700.00. We could have had our own pest control company place those bait stations for significantly less. 

The poor organization, lack of follow-up, and exorbitant costs are the reasons we won't use Critter Control again. It remains to be seen if we will still have black rat snakes. If we do we most certainly won't contact Critter Control.
