Auto Body Work
Great! Done in a timely way. They worked with the insurance company so I just had to drop the car off and pick it up. The car looked like new again.

EXCELLENT customer service. Staff in contact with us every day for updates and estimates. Great repair work, perfectly aligned and clean when we picked up. Convenient location, friendly employees, minimal down time and quite inexpensive for work completed. I would definitely return

I called Eastland Aamoco to ask for advice. Kevin there referred me to Mark Ross at Collision Care. I called first and then went over. When Mark saw that it was a simple fix, he offered to do it for free since I had been doing business with Drew of Eastland Aamoco. He had me give him the keys and offered to let me wait in the waiting room. In about 20 minutes, the work was done and I left.
While waiting a customer came in and Mark told him about a problem with the work he had been doing for him. He could have easily covered it up, but he didn't. He had ordered the correct part, but a wrong part was sent. It had to do with a original manufacturer part vs. one that was after market. Mark gave the customer the option of taking what was already done or having the correct part put on. The customer wanted the original part so Mark agreed to do it without cost to the customer.

Auto Body Work
The truck was dropped off on a Tuesday, and was possibly going to be ready that Friday. In reality, it was not ready until the following Thursday--double the originally estimated time. When we did pick it up, we found out that the repair plan had changed from paintless dent repair to replacing the hood with a used factory hood, and paint on the entire top of the vehicle. We were not notified of this change of plans until the repairs had been made and we had no choice in the matter. There were multiple paint runs, rubbing compound and bits of tape all over the vehicle, major imperfections on the used hood, and the mirror was not repaired at all because the part had not come in yet. The shop had also agreed to replace a previously broken outside door handle at just the cost of the part since they were going to have to take it out of the door anyway. They forgot to do so. There were also buttons missing from the truck's radio that had been there when we dropped the truck off. They asked that I drive the truck back to Lexington the next day to have the mirror replaced. (This truck gets 10-12 miles to the gallon, and we live 45 miles from the shop, so this was not a small or inexpensive request with gas at almost $4 a gallon.)
We returned the truck to have all the paint issues taken care of, and to have the mirror, radio buttons, and door handle replaced. When we arrived to pick up the truck 3 days later, the mirror had still not been replaced because the glass that had been ordered would not work with the existing mirror housing and the entire housing needed to be replaced. The door handle had been replaced, but not correctly, as the door lock was no longer working. The paint issues are better, but honestly, only acceptable because this truck is 14 years old, and this shop has worn us out.
In all fairness, they did waive the charge for door handle (an approximate $50 value), and I don't believe they went back to our insurance company for more money for the mirror housing. They were also very apologetic for all the issues, but this company is not worth the headache in the long run, and we will not return.

Response from COLLISION CARE
"This vehicle was involved in an area wide hailstorm and our sublet contractor for hail repair as required by the insurance company was overbooked and could not perform the repair as scheduled. In the future, we will get a written commitment from any paintless dent repair contractors before scheduling repairs."

Auto Body Work
They evaluated my vehicle and attempted to get the window up for me and when it was not possible they covered my window with plastic all for free. I left a message over the weekend to go ahead and order the parts and when they came in that Tuesday morning I brought my vehicle in. They had a loaner vehicle available for me to use free of charge so I didn't miss any work. My vehicle was complete on time at the quoted price. I really appreciated the great, fast service as driving without a window in rain and snow is not fun. I will definitely use them again.
