My system was out of date and he updated it all. It is so efficient and energy saving. They took care of it all with no hassle to me. My air conditioning was not working and he suggested updating both, the air conditioner and the heater. this was definitely the right call. The engineer and owner, Berry, came out because I had an unusual problem, he came out twice to make sure it was properly addressed. I highly recommend them.

Based on a recommendation from a neighbor, we had been using Coleman
Smith for our annual check-ups since we bought our house 10 years ago.
The technicians had always done a good job when they came, pointing out
areas of concern and letting us know that we had some issues that needed
to be addressed at some point, but they weren't pushy about having us
buy a new unit. They kept patching the furnace (which was 25 years old)
until it finally developed a crack and needed to be replaced. As our AC
unit was also on its last legs, we went ahead and decided to replace
everything tied to the heating/ac. We sought bids from 10 companies, and
Coleman Smith's bid was not only one of the lowest, but offered what we
considered better equipment (Lennox) than the other companies. The
installation process took two days, primarily because of all the
retrofitting they had to do to replace the old hulk of a furnace with
the much smaller but more efficient unit. We've been incredibly pleased
with the results, and noticed that our heating and cooling costs since
have dropped about 20%. Overall, we would highly recommend Coleman
Smith.

We have dogs and so the air conditioner was clogged up. We talked with them about either repairing the unit or buying a new unit and he gave us a bid. We decided after talking with him that we did not need to replace the unit since it was working well. He suggested that we use the air conditioner till it broke down completely. It is a small and individually-run company and they are very personable. The fellows who come out are very honest. I had once called another company who told us that we needed to replace the unit. I then called Coleman Smith and the gentleman who came out fixed it for a relatively small fee and told us that we did not need a new unit at that time. They are punctual. We had bought this unit from them and will buy a new one from them when it breaks down.

The last time around, they did a routine maintenance and checkup. They know their business, and I trust them completely. They do not compel me to do something that I don’t need, especially in terms of spending money, and I really appreciate that. I believe them when they tell me that I need to get something done. They come very quickly when I call them. I am sure that I could get work done cheaper, but I feel very comfortable with them, and I don’t mind paying for their service; I have not compared prices actually. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

After receiving 6 or 7 estimates to replace our 20 year old system, we selected Coleman Smith to perform the work. They were very personable and professional and did not try to "oversell." Several companies were pushing larger hybrid systems, while CS actually encouraged us to downsize our system to better suit our home. They requested a second visit to measure the floor plan and windows/doors to completely a**** our needs. This resulted in a better performing system that accurately suits our home and was more affordable. After 2 winters and now headed into the second summer, we are completely satisfied with Coleman Smith. 

The serviceman was able to come out the day that I called. He arrived, assessed the condition of the AC unit and changed the filter.

It turned out fine with no problems.

After having another company come and suggest we needed a new furnace and air-conditioner, a Coleman Smith person came and said that we did not need new unit and he could repair the one we have for $332. Big difference between that and the estimated new unit the other company was trying to sell which was close to $2,000. I later found that the other company workers get a % of sale. We needed a new part and water had somehow kept the furnace from starting. Do get a second estimate unless you know your service provider.

Excellent service

Good initial visit, all questions answered - proposal complete with details, options & prices. Installation took 2 day, minimal loss of service, good clean-up, removal of old equipment.

Our AC unit started blowing hot air in mid-August 2007. I replaced the existing t-stat with an electronic version and failed miserably. Had to buy a new analog t-stat to install, which did not fix the problem of the blowing hot air. We had company coming that weekend and they came out and looked at the problem the same day. After two more subsequent visits, the third technician took a look in the attic at the blower unit and the wiring on the outside box and fixed the issue by rewiring something on the outside condenser.

I have used them for years. They are knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. They always call me before they come out to my home. I recommend them because I can trust them in my home with I am gone.
