Brandon and his team did a great job. Brandon provided thorough information on the systems recommended and gave me a few options with different efficiency. They were not my cheapest quote but pretty close. I ended up choosing them because I had read their reviews and I got the impression from Brandon that their install team would be top notch and it was!! I am an industrial engineer for Toyota and I am very familiar with how much a bad install can effect a good piece of equipment. I spent the extra money to own a Trane unit and I wanted to make sure it will last me a long time. The installation techs were polite and professional and showed up when expected and also letting me know when stepping out for some food. They worked diligently with good installation techniques. Brandon came and followed up with me a few days later and checked all the thermostat settings and the install in general. He also supported me in gathering the rebate info for the utility companies. I will definitely hire them again and I would highly recommend them for your install.

I was very impressed with them. Brandon even recharged my old system to keep me going until the next system could be installed. That was at no charge and before we I had agreed to let them do the work. They were clean (wore booties inside the house) and they even did a little fix of the duct work at very little added cost. Their price was less than the other bid I had. I was impressed with Brandon's knowledge as well, others would have just looked at the house and ballparked the unit sizing, which is a bad idea. (I work in the electric business and know that you don't want too big or too small of a unit)

Very satisfied. Brandon was polite, courteous and knowledgeable. He also did not push for a commitment as a couple of other reps did. I had him out to the house on a Saturday morning and be the next Friday we were up and running. Wayne also pointed out on Friday a couple of problem areas in the attic and made recommendations. I was out of town for Mon and Tues or they probably would have had in in even sooner. Best overall estimate from four companies.

Service was great. Mix up on equipment for install but was recognized and proper equipment installed. Also some items installed by technicians failed. Tech has been back and fixed. Excellent emergency services on weekend. Dispatcher Lori (hope I spelled it right) and sales contact Brandon have been excellent to work with and worked to make sure we got what we paid for. Satisfied and will recommend to others.

Herbie, the owner, came to my house and I explained to him what the unit was doing and what problems we were having. He did a walk through of the house and made suggestions as to what size unit we needed, what we could do to make it more efficient for 2nd and 3rd floors and priced it. I reviewed the proposal and agreed to the terms and we set up and install date. Air Control showed up as promised and did the work, explaining to me what they were doing along the way. Not only did I receive the unit, but by the time they finished, I understood how the unit worked and what features it had.

We have used Climate Control for many years. We have always found them to be a great company for all of all our hvac needs. We just replaced our furnace and everything is working perfectly. The technicians are always friendly, courteous & knowledgeable and I wouldn't go anywhere else...thanks Climate Control.

We have used Climate Control for routine maintenance on our now 18 year old HVAC units and i credit their care of the units for extending their lives to this point. Unfortunately, the upstairs HVAC unit went down on a Sunday. We called first thing Monday morning and within an hour a technician was out (it should be noted we have the units under a maintenance agreement, which gives us priority scheduling). He came out and checked everything before telling us the unit as not repairable and needed replacing. A consultant came out that afternoon to talk about our needs from an HVAC unit and provided three quotes for low, medium and high price ranges. We chose a unit and they came out the following afternoon to replace the unit. Despite some mishaps, they remained completely professional. They finished the install the next morning and have made 100% sure we are satisfied and happy with the system. We plan on working with Climate Control for the foreseeable future while we are living in Lexington and, while they may not be the cheapest HVAC company in town, they are most certainly the most professional and honest.

The repair person(s) came out 4 times from May to July (7/14/2014). Each visit they checked for leaks in the system but found none. The compressor would run but not cool, indicated it would burn out if this continued. On the second visit they Indicated a $1300 valve should fix the problem and would need to be ordered or replace the unit. We decided to go with the valve and let them know to place the order. Because of miss communication inside the supplier, it was a couple of weeks before the valve was installed. On each visit the freon was low but they had no explanation as to why. They couldn't explain why the compressor kept running and not cooling. On 7/14, the service person came out and the freon was low,once again. They checked outside around the unit and under the house but was unable to fully explain where/why the freon was leaking. They added more freon, again. They advised if it still wasn't cooling after this visit, a more extensive approach would have to be taken to find the leak....it could be a pin hole in the tubing, leak in the coil, etc. My electric bill during this time was over $230 (for May and June); my house is 1067 square feet and total electric; my mother's house is +2000 square feet/split foyer, total electric and her bill is considerably lower.
On 7/15/2014, another service person from another company came out and within 3 minutes, he found 2 large holes in the tubes going from the outside of the house to the unit. He explained that the foam rubber surrounding the tubes were saturated where the leaks were located. He said the compressor would continue to run but not cool, which would burn it up in a matter of time. He advised it would be over $700 to replace the copper tubing or putting in a new heat pump.
The reason for calling Climate Control was - the seller had paperwork showing when the heat pump was bought and all the work orders since. I bought the house September, 2013, my first house, and didn't notice high electric bills for the heat, the temperature was set in the low 60's.

We've been pleased with their service. However, we understand that CC was sold to another person/company/group, and we have been warned that the annual maintenance fee would be significantly increased (one phone call confirmed that!) and that we would be charged for any minor repairs or adjustments (and that the charges would not be minor).
It's sad to see a company who was locally owned/operated go down the drain. Sad.

NO ONE ever scheduled my Fall maintenance. They think it is MY responsibility to call them Well maybe if MY MOTHER HAD NOT DIED IN OCT I would have been open to that. They took my money and it is up to them to call, email or send a reminder to contact them. I called their office last week when I got a renewal bill!! I did not get Spring maintnance 2013 either. As of today June 15th 2013 NO ONE has returned my call!!!

My gas furnace for my main floor and basement stopped blowing heat in late December 2012. I diagnosed and found the burner coming on but then shutting off and no heat would blow. I immediately called Climate Control who has serviced it before and they sent a repairman promptly. He diagnosed my control board as being faulty but did not have the correct board in stock in his truck. He called his office and ordered the correct part and was able to return the next day and replace. My heater has had no issues since. The repairman also made recommendation not to use too strong (thick) an air filter which reduces air flow and causes the blower motor to work harder. Good advice as he also found moderate bearing wear on my blower motor but did not believe it warranted replacement at this time.

I had several estimates. My furnace is working beautifully. I have almost no gas bill, and a very low electric bill. When my hot water heater dies, I'm going to get a tankless water heater, and have almost no gas bill, and an even lower water bill. I am a very economical person. I worked for Kentucky Power for 35 years, so I'm kind of into that. The sales representative was very honest, and laid out my options. He didn't try to steer me toward anything expensive. He listened to my needs, explained the specials and offered tax credits. When they did the installation, they were on time, and they were efficient. I had to leave because of the mold. They had to completely replace my duct work, and they didn't charge me for that. It took about 1/2 a day longer than they planned, and it was not an easy installation. They came over, and showed me how to operate the bodacious thermostat, which does everything except cook my breakfast. They took me under their wing, and gave me little pieces of advice. They made me feel like I wasn't just another job. The workers were all very personable, and the staff was professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would recommend them., and use them again. If I were to have problems, they would be Johnny on the spot. They also gave me a feature on the furnace for free.

I received the following from Climate Control: the outstanding customer service; competent technicians; very competitive pricing; the job was finished in a timely manner; and the new heat pump has lowered my heating and air bills substantially. I have referred friends and relatives to Climate Control and they, too, have had similar experiences. With all the trouble I had with a 10+ year old geothermal unit, I have had the "opportunity" to have several different heating and air companies service the geothermal -- I should have contacted Chris Fugmann at Climate Control years ago! I also like the fact that Climate Control has been in this type of business for over 30 years. Lastly, new Climate Control customers don't really need to bother checking all the references that Climate Control provides for the asking -- I did that and their feedback was just like mine. You really can't go wrong.

(couldn't help but over hear opinions on music, politics, and their superiors) But most of their conversation was related to the technical details of the install. Listening to what they had to deal with, I think they were under paid...
Customer support and assistance has been great. They fixed an issue with the thermostat right away. (Spotted the problem themselves, and had a replacement in hand within a day) Cleaned up and were out of the way in no time. (3 day install) Chose the team on price, but appreciated the customer service.

Overall experience was excellent. They promptly responded to my request for a quote. The price was competitive and contract was signed. They show up as scheduled and the work was completed on schedule. The installers were very competent and professional. I had no issues.
