Chore Chick

I need to publically apologize for my most recent review. It was done in anger and should never have seen this page. These ladies are great and they do very good work. This project took longer than expected, but as I mentioned, the weather was a little uncooperative. I do have some other concerns, but they really don't have anything to do with their work.

It went very well.

Our garage was a mess. Our shed was a mess. So we asked the Chore Chicks if they could drive a truck up to the shed and help us clean it out. Turns out, we didn't want, or need, most of the stuff in the shed. We then moved the things we wanted from the garage into the shed. Wow! We now had a big space, but with possible wiring issues. So off came all the drywall, and sure enough, the wiring was bad in some places. So we had new wiring run, added an automated light over the stairs into the house, added insulation, drywall and one coat of white paint. I know it sounds like a lot of work for a garage, but we can park both cars in the garage, I can see the steps into the house at night, and with the insulation, the house is warmer when it is really cold outside and the wind is blowing. The garage project started in May 2017 and ended in December 2017. They were great about the multiple delays: waiting for us to finish our part of the project, vacations, electricians, and all of the vagaries that plague any project. We will hire them again for our next project.

Horrible. I've paid The Chore Chick around $500 for various things around the house. Had a closet that needed to be repaired, they said they could do it and it would be able to hold a lot of weight. Day after "repair" and with only clothing hanging, the closet broke again. Contacted them and they said they couldn't do anything about the repair and that I wouldn't get my money back. They haven't answered my last email over a month ago either. So I gave them my money to fix this for no reason cause we're back at square one and I lost $70.

Amy and a co-worker did a great job.  They gave me an estimate for the work,  They came when they said they would; I told them what I wanted done and went in the house.  They did not miss a thing.  I will recommend them and use them again.. 

She was nice and she did a good job.

Extremely professional and reasonably priced; Arrived on-time and completed the job in a very timely manner. Did a very thorough job on the project and I will definitely be using Chore Chick again for future projects.

The chore chick came in with a trailer and loaded all the brush up and hauled it off for me. She was punctual, thorough, conscientious, and her price was well worth it to me since I had no way to haul it off. We also used her for several other assorted odd jobs involving mostly hauling off junk or brush or mowing and she performed all these well. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with an odd job.

They show up when they say they are going to, are very courteous and are real hard workers. They get the job done, do what they say they are going to do and I am very pleased with the work that they do.

She came for consultation and did work same day. Yard looked great when work was completed.

Amy came right away to give a free estimate. She was professional and personable. She worked with me on scheduling to my convenience and around the inclement weather. I was so impressed with the work and how nice everything looked. I came home from work and it was all done - everything neat and clean and all the work done. I highly recommend Chore Chick.

Ms Schumacher was extremely pleasant to deal with, efficient, neat and thorough. She made a heavy job seem easy which put me at ease regarding the lifting the job entailed. She has a great attitude, projects professionalism, and trustworthiness. She was prompt, quicker than I expected, and I felt as if my job was her top priority, so her customer service/people skills are excellent.

.I called Amy (chorechick) to come out and give me an estimate on trimming three large bushes and cutting front and back yard. The backyard was a mess and hadn't been cut in quite a few weeks. She gave me a very reasonable estimate and came out the when see estimated she could get out and did the job. The job was professional and I will use her in the future for more work I need done.

Chore Chick is GREAT. Excellent work at a very fair price.

I called her about doing the job on a Monday. We played phone tag for a couple of days, but once we connected, she came that afternoon to look at what I wanted done. She sent me a written estimate the next morning by e-mail. This all occurred during the really hot spell of early July. I told her I wasn't in a particular hurry and it would be okay with me to wait until the heat broke. She said okay, but e-mailed me the next Wednesday (July 4) to see if she could come due it the next morning. She arrived within 5 minutes of her estimated start time and went right to work. Within 3 hours, she and her helped had cleared the hillside of ivy (english and poison) as well as removed it all from my wall, windows, and air conditioner. She tilled it repeatedly to make sure the roots were out. She cleaned out the garden on the other side of the house also, clearing it of poison ivy and walnut tree saplings. Some of the saplings were to large to remove manually but she made sure and tell me that. She and her helper cleaned and bagged it all up and removed it from the property so I didn't have to deal with it at all. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely use her again.

She returned calls and came when promised. Happy with the service. We plan to call her again in the future.
