So far no water in basement but it was only finished about two weeks ago. They did not clean up after themselves very well.

The workers showed up on time and did good job of cleaning up when finished. Because of water damage found during installation that had to be repaired before they could continue, they had to schedule a second day to complete the project. After dealing with the first contractor, I can truly say Champion is a very professional company. I've attached some before and after pictures to this review. I was very please with their work and would hire them again.

We had several estimates for basement waterproofing before meeting with Shawn Cornish of Champion. We liked him and we liked their lifetime guarantee - and we liked the price. They weren't the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Brandon-the foreman-and his crew were prompt every morning. They were diligent, efficient, and finished exactly on time. Their work has been excellent and we are so pleased with the results.

Job went very well. We had to wait nearly four weeks for our appointment, but when the day came, two young men showed up on time. They hung plastic sheeting on the doors and over the furniture to control the dust which necessarily was generated. They both worked extremely hard for a day and a half and finished the job. Afterward they cleaned up, picked up and hauled off the scrap materials. They drilled and dug a trench in the concrete basement floor and a three foot deep sump. Placed drainage pipes in the trench, covered with gravel and re-concreted the floor. All exactly as they had described in the job estimate that we had been given. We were very pleased with their workmanship. Now we are waiting for a heavy and extended period of rain to see how well the waterproofing performs. I am very confident it will work well, and they did give us a certificate that is a lifetime transferrable warranty on the work they did.

We received 3 bids to install interior drain tile along two basement walls and install steel I beams to reinforce a section of bowing block wall. Champion's bid was competitive, they were awarded the work and a start date for the project was determined (about 6 weeks out at the time). Champion's office called 5 days prior to the start date to confirm plans. The work took about 2 1/2 days to complete. The crew showed up on time every day, was very courteous, and completed all the work per the bid. They left the basement cleaner than when they arrived and hauled off all construction debris. Overall, we were very happy with their work, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Service went great!! Due to Champions work load (which is good because they are busy!!) we had to wait about 1 month for them to schedule this service, no big deal. Â On the first day they showed up earlier than their scheduled time which doesn't happen with many companies!! Â They continued to show up everyday on time as work took 3 days. Â They were very professional, and concerned about our needs as a customer. Â They completed the job on time. Â Also, they were less expensive than any other estimate we received.

Overall, it was a great experience, from scheduling the estimate appointment to the completion of work. We had to wait about 4 weeks to have the work done because they were busy, but that was fine for us. They were very professional and efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves. I was slightly hesitant initially, because the estimate was significantly lower than another highly rated company that we received an estimate from. However, given our experience and the fact that they offer a lifetime guarantee, I am very happy with our decision to use them.

The July rains more than saturated my ground. It created aquariums from two window wells in the basement as well. I cleaned out the window wells as best I could but realized that the trouble was with the removal of water from the ground close to the house. Sean from Champion came out, gave me a quote and scheduled work.
Unfortunately, the date we had scheduled had been taken when he returned to the office, so he promptly called me and re-scheduled the work date for about a week later. On the day of the work, a Monday, he called to say that he was unwell as were most of the crew who had been scheduled for the work. Since I had been re-scheduled once before, he made every effort to get my work re-scheduled for later in the week.
On the re-scheduled work date, Sean promptly arrived and explained to the work team what was necessary to do. Jacob, the crew supervisor took it from there.
The work was done in a timely manner, and clean-up was excellent!
While scheduling issues do happen, Sean's responsiveness was the outstanding part of the transaction. He handled the issue very well, despite feeling less than perfect. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 20 years, it is easy for me to find fault with company representatives. However, Sean did everything to make the situation right in the best ways of customer service. He is to be highly complemented.
Champion is a great firm!

At the initial sales call Shawn gave me the expected date for the work. They showed up at 8 am on the appointed day. I liked that Shawn was there part of each day; it was nice to have the same person shepherd the entire job from estimate to completion.
The workers were polite and accommodating. I am picky about my plants and was very pleased that Brock was careful to protect the lawn and shrubs.
I am embarrassed but it did not occur to me to call and have the underground utility lines marked/flagged. I wish I had: a utility line entered the house smack in the middle of one of the holes. Fortunately the hole was hand-dug by Brock who quickly realized the problem and changed the hole location. I wish I had called 811, I wish Shawn had told me to make the call or I wish that Champion Waterproofing and Piering had called. It could have ended very badly, luckily it didn?t.
The tuck pointing was pretty basic: as far as I could tell there was no attempt to match the color to the current mortar, the worker pushed the mortar into the cracks and smeared it around with his finger. He was accommodating when I handed him a wet rag and asked him to wipe the excess mortar off the bricks, but I doubt if it would have happened if I had not been there. I suspect it was h****** the worker?s finger, plus there is a gray haze over the bricks adjacent to the tuck pointed areas.
Overall I am happy with my experience with Champion Waterproof and Piering and happy with the job they did.
