Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Lexington

Bone Dry came to my house in the late summer of 2013 and replaced my entire roof, including 2 flat roof areas. One of the flat roofs was replaced with a pitched roof. They also repaired the chimney, and waterproofed it. Because this is an old house with many additions, there were problems at some places where the different areas connected, and they were able to fix all those wonky places that leaked. Later, I had them come out and caulk around the porch room that had leaked for years. Every Bone Dry employee who has come to the house to work has been so nice. They are all polite, understanding of my frustration with my old house, and willing to do what is necessary to fix the problem. They are very competent and knowledgeable. This company and the people working there went above and beyond my expectations, doing lots of extras for me like cleaning a clogged downspout and showing me how to do it myself in the future, and putting a screen over my chimney to keep animals out. From the first contact, speaking to Sarah who answers the phone when I call, to the last man who came to do some work, I have always had a very positive experience with Bone Dry. I will certainly call on them again whenever I need the services they provide. This compamy does excellent work, and I can't tell you how beautiful my new roof is.

Excellent. They were on time. End of each day work area was very clean and neat. They subcontracted the masonry work, but was very, very pleased with work performed. Joe was here often supervising the progress of the job. Still have to apply crown coat, but this has been delayed because of weather. Joe advised this will be done on Friday, November 16. Waterproofing will have to wait until mid-December, weather permitting. Otherwise, will delay until Spring. Joe advised that I could deduct the price of waterproofing and pay when it is done, but I feel confident enough in the company and his word that I will pay for the waterproofing now. All in all, I would highly recommend this company for any masonry or roofing work.

Replaced part of my roof that was leaking.

I was very happy with Bone Dry Roofing. The skylights ended up fitting differently than the originals (the size was no longer made) and the drywall on the inside of the skylights had to be redone. They covered the cost of that repair as well because it was unexpected.

Joe came by to do the estimate, he was professional and reasonable. I maintained email contact with Bone Dry between the time of the estimate and the day of work. The crew showed up promptly and were professional. They worked quickly and were proficient at their task. The work was started at 0900 and the whole job was wrapped up at 1500. They made minimal to no mess and what they did make was cleaned up promptly. Joe supervised the crew by coming by every once in a while. Everyone was nice, the job was well done and the price reasonable. I definitely recommend this company and crew to anyone looking for a small masonry job.

We were very pleased with their work. The little touches they do, such as using drip edge that matches the shingle color and hand nailing to ensure that the nails aren't put THROUGH the shingle (as some nail guns do when shingles get hotter later in the day) made a big difference.

The company rep. contacted me within 3 days. He explained the necessary work to be done . What. the cost would be. We set a convenient time for me. The installer was on time He answered any questions I asked. He was professional, knowledgeable and through. I would use them again.

We are very satisfied with Bone Dry's work. They gave an accurate estimate, and did quality work within budget. They also saved us a lot of money since another contractor told us we needed a whole new roof, but Bone Dry said we probably had 10-15 years left on it if we replaced just the missing/popped shingles. Also, Bone Dry had no problem with holding off payment until we had a chance to test out their repairs when it rained. It did turn out that one of the pipe boots had a slight leak, but Bone Dry came out right away and fixed that to our satisfaction, and then we paid them. We would definitely recommend using Bone Dry since they estimate accurately, do quality work, and allow you time to evaluate their work before payment.

Bone Dry gave us an accurate estimate of cost, ordered all the spikes, and installed them. We are so happy that this has solved our problem since we had tried several other prior solutions that didn't work and several other companies we contacted were not interested in helping us solve this problem. We would definitely recommend Bone Dry since they seem to care about the customer's problems (big or small), and do work accurately and within budget.

Bone Dry was punctual in both their initial quote and their service provided. They were faster than expected and didn't leave any mess behind. They even upgraded our small garage to dimensional shingles when they had extra and only charged us the flat shingle price. Very impressed with their work.

Jade Marsh was very professional and courteous. He came out quickly and provided and estimate on the spot. The repair was done very professionally and I did not have to miss work to be at home. Would highly recommend Bone Dry again.

They showed up on time and quickly determined what was causing the leaks. They came back in two days with repair materials and shingles. Very quick and efficient. The leak on the back of the roof was a re-occurring problem that had been tackled by 3 other companies with mixed results. Bone Dry's solution was what I would consider "unorthodox" but it worked!

Have water damage to plaster above and around fireplace where chimney enters the house. More than a dozen bricks damaged by water, poor crown needed to be replaced. From what I can tell, Bone Dry Masonry did a fine job. They were professional and prompt. The work was completed a few days after I sent in the signed quote. The work was completed in only one day, with cleanup the following morning. I thought the price was a little high, but it was comparable with other quotes I received and I thought Bone Dry Masonry would do the best job. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and would use them again. The invoice matched what I was quoted, including $100 Angie's List discount.

My experience with them was very good. They were friendly, thorough, time efficient and I am very happy with their work. I would highly recommend them. I went with them because I liked what they were going to do and what they were going to charge me. They were also recommended by one of my friends who had some work done by them. I had five different quotes and their was second to best.

They went fine. The price was for two different jobs. They did what they were asked to do. I was pleased with the quality of their work. There was no real problems.

Company came right out and assessed our issues and worked well with our insurance Company to complete the job. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The issue that needed fixing immediately, the chimney flashing, was fixed within the week.
