I'd used an HVAC company for many years which earlier this year was sold. I was in a panic to find someone else I could trust as much. Found Bob's on my neighborhood web site. The first time, earlier this summer, he replaced my ancient thermostat and added refrigerant to my AC, which I've known was low for a couple of years. Very satisfied with that service. He explained everything completely. Most recently, in Sept., I called him to do a pre-season service on my furnace. Dwayne and his son did a spectacular job. Found some issues that might have caused trouble in future. He recommended another, more efficient, filter. Thankfully, I've found a great replacement for the company I loved and used for many years.

They replaced TXV valve in attic air handler. I was impressed with there honesty and professional work. I would recommend them for good value service on all HVAC equip. Thanks Bob for getting my cooling in order.

Dwayne was very courteous and nice.  I felt like I could trust him, he wasn't just trying to sell me what made the most money for him, he was trying to sell me what made the most sense.  He showed up on time for the initial quote for work, and scheduled work the following week (mid-summer) to replace the failed compressor on the outside unit and local disconnect.    
Most recently, he performed a service call on both units, including adding a little bit of refrigerant to the units to get system pressures and temperatures where they need to be.  Also changed my filters and recommended a different style filter in the future because the ones I have been using might have been starving my air handlers.  Instead, he suggested a cheaper air filter that would be a better balance of filtering the air and providing lower pressure drop across the return air.  Last call was with my wife and kids at home (youngest sleeping) and when they had to come in to look at the air handlers, they worked as quietly as possible as to not wake the little one.  Was also nice that they worked their schedule around kind of last minute to accommodate our schedule.  
Will definitely be using them again.

Great. He put little paper booties on. Came in and got started. I was standing around so he explained what was wrong. Went to truck for part. Fixed it. Cleaned it. Put my new filter in for me. Good to go. Has been working ever since.

They're just excellent, they're very reasonable and they're very honest. The main guy is excellent.

He is just a small shop. We have had him out twice. Once to service our air conditioning and the second time to install a thermostat. Both times were very reasonably priced. He is very friendly. He is very low priced compared to other HVAC repair men. He is very prompt and professional.

I have used him in the past and was impressed with his work. They do good work, and they are reasonable.

We have a home warranty and only paid a $50 service fee for the work. Bob's Htg/Air is the service company that the warranty company uses in Central KY.

We have used Bob's Htg and Air before and Dwayne is top notch. He is very thorough and conscientious about his work and goes the extra mile to make sure your system is running properly. He has never tried to and quot;up-selland quot; us on a new system (ours is over 20 years old) or anything else. He just gets it working again.

I am glad that we and quot;stumbled uponand quot; Bob's Htg and Air through our home warranty company and can honestly say that we would use Bob's even if we didn't have the warranty! I would definitely recommend Bob's to anyone needing htg/air work.

The heat pump compressor failed at my rental property. Dwayne really went the extra mile to provide me with the best economical and value solution of any of the HVAC companies in Lexington. I was very impressed with his estimates, promptness, professionalism, and quality of work. Great job!

I felt comfortable that Bob knew exactly what he was doing. He made some adjustments that kept the furnace going for two more winters than I thought it would.

Compressor went out on AC unit. Replace promptly and quickly. No complaints.

I called our home warranty company to request service on our AC, which wasn't cooling the house. Bob (yes, the Bob of Bob's Appliance Repair) came out and diagnosed our AC as needing a new compressor and a new capacitor. Since we were working with the home warranty company, the company had to approve the request for service and order the parts. It seemed like it took a little longer than it should have, but the home warranty company is to blame for that, not Bob. Bob was actually very sympathetic with our plight, as we have two small children and it's been quite hot here lately (our house has been in the range of 85 and 93 degrees the past few days). When the parts came in, Bob came out the next day and installed everything in about an hour. I think he squeezed us in when he usually has lunch - again he commented on how he didn't like the idea of my kids being so hot. I would definitely use Bob again and I recommend him to anyone who has heating or AC troubles.
