We have been installing and servicing lawn irrigation systems in the Central Kentucky area since 1986. We have approx. 20 employees. We give free estimates, and occasionally offer special promotions during the season. We have been members of the Better Business Bureau since 1989.

Scott quickly contacted me to provide a bid that was very competitively priced. The job was scheduled quickly, and Chris and the installation crew were professional and thorough and completed work within a week. The trenching and digging were done neatly, with the dirt put on a tarp, and any rocks dug up were disposed of. They had to go under several sidewalks and concrete landscape edgings. Within a couple weeks of completion, one can hardly tell any work has been done in the yard. After the job completion, Perry, the installation manager came by to make a couple of minor adjustments and explain the system set up and answer our questions; Again, very professional and thorough. I highly recommend Bluegrass Irrigation.

Doug and Dexter were professional and punctual. Doug patiently answered all my questions (I had a lot since I recently purchased the home). There was no sales pressure even though it was an older system unlike the previous company that came to do an estimate. Definitely will use them in the future.

Very professional. They did a great job for us. They installed sprinklers and a controller. Two weeks after the installation, you couldn't see any signs of digging/installing. It looked great. Very happy with the design they created. Received a walk through for the controller from the installer and again a week after installation. We are extremely happy with our new sprinkler system and the service that Bluegrass Irrigation provides.

previous service had not responded in a timely manner. kept pump entire season for repair and did not respond with an explanation even though many requests were made. Bluegrass secured the pump and installed it. previous firm made many visits and billed for service without correcting problem. system is operative.

Bluegrass Irrigation sent me a notice by email about the need for the spring check of my sprinkler system. I responded by email and a technician called me the next day to make an appointment. Two technicians came out the following week and performed the service to my satisfaction. During the check, they found that there was a rock in the system and promptly remedied the situation.
I had a sprinkler system installed by them several years ago because I had invested a lot of time and money in landscaping around my home and wanted it watered in a timely manner. They gave me a bid I could afford and did excellent work installing the system. Since then, they have come each spring to turn on the system, check for problems and perform a backflow test. In the fall they blow out the system and turn it off. They have been available to assist me with any concerns such as when I had my lawn aerated by my lawn service and I had to have all my sprinkler heads marked (as well as the electrical wire connections) with flags so as not to cause any problems to the irrigation system. They came out and did the markings free of charge. The technicians have been very courteous, prompt, and reliable. I would highly recommend Bluegrass Irrigation for your sprinkler/irrigation needs.

Once I start on projects like this I do a lot of research and ask a lot of questions. They were quite patient with me as I did this. They had to coordinate their installation with a major landscaping project being done about the same time by another company and that was adequately done. I felt that I maybe had to initiate some things with questions a bit more than some might do, but that could have been caused by my taking the initiative to do that rather than a lack of communication on their part. I expect a lot of communication from contractors so I know what is to happen when. We are satisfied with what was done and they have since come back and winterized the system. That also went well.

They installed my lawn irrigation system for me in the past. They were last at my home to turn on a lawn irrigation system. The staff they send out vary in how confident they are. I feel their pricing is relatively inexpensive.
I am not real pleased with their service. I do not feel the system is designed adequately for what it is servicing.

"After the customer informed us of the problem, we sent a different technician to replace the irrigation parts that she was concerned about, with new parts that she was satisfied with, at no additional charge. After we completed the new work, our service manager spoke with the customer, and he indicated that he was happy with the work and appreciated our efforts. Our goal is to resolve any situation that our clients are concerned about with regard to any work or charges for that work."
