The cost of fixing it would have been too much due to the age of the refrigerator. Bought a new one.

Kevin diagnosed the Samsung dryer problem and installed the new part same day. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and took care of additional details. He explained everything clearly. He provided information on cost savings and maintenance. What a pleasure to have found a great repair service for the dryer and dishwasher! Highly recommend for any large appliance!

Contacted company and they were able to come out same day. Quickly diagnosed problem and had the parts with them to fix a Kenmore dryer. Quickly and efficiently fixed in less than an hour. Highly recommended and will certainly use again if the need arises.

"[Member name removed], I had advised you of a potential additional problem with your washing machine based on the problems you were having. You were aware of the wiring harness being bad as you inspected it yourself. My recommendation was to replace the known problem (wiring harness) and see if that took care of all problems. My company strives to maintain the best service reputation in the industry. In doing so we try not to sell you expensive parts that you may not need. I knew if I had replaced both parts the first time that your washer would be working perfectly but there was a possibility that the wiring harness was causing all your issues I'm sorry your still having problems with your machine but my offer still stands to replace your control board and only charging you for the part, no labor."

Good job scheduling and calling in advance of visit to avoid having to wait for service. Whirlpool side by side refrigerator came with house and was about 12 years old. It stopped cooling and I thought it was worth a service call to see if it could be fixed instead of replaced. Technician advised only a starter for the motor was needed, and that this brand and year of refrigerator was generally well-built, making it worthwhile to fix instead of repair. He had the needed part, and repair took only about 30 minutes. Honest, punctual and efficient - hope I don't need them again, but they're first on the list if I do.

Good but unexpectedly expensive. They were $95 to check out a fridge and adjust the temp/water line. No new parts needed.

"My prices are very reasonable compared to what other companies charge for the service performed. This was for your rental property and you were not there to observe the repair (which was more than just an inspection). Let me explain the process for you. I called the tenant when I was on my way, inspected the fridge and found the temperature settings were incorrect and the water was turned off, turned water on and tested water and ice maker for proper operation, both tested ok. Observed water leak and ice formation in bottom of freezer caused by a clogged condensation line. I then Called your husband and explained the repair and gave him a price. He agreed to the price and I continued the repair. I spent around 40 minutes at the home plus drive time. If you were to ask your tenants about my professionalism and service I feel they would give me an A rating. On a side note your husband said he already tried to turn the water on but couldn't. If all I had to do was turn your water on and adjust the temperature I would have discounted the price, that process took about 10 minutes. Nothing in running a professional company is cheap. The goal for my company is to be cheaper, faster, and better than the big service companies but cheap won't keep my business open. I hope you can find another service company to fit your needs!"

All the times we've had ASofL working they've been prompt and professional. Every time the company owner stops by to make sure the technician has completed the job properly. One time when we had ordered a part for our oven it was seriously delayed due to an overseas natural disaster where the part was manufactured. ASofL never forgot our lost our information which was remarkable. Will continue to use them.

I called another closer service that also had a high rating on Angie's List, but they were booked up for a full week. I then called Appliance Service of Lexington (also with an and quot;Aand quot; rating), and, though they were unable to come out that day, they were able to come out the following afternoon. As promised, the service man called ahead to confirm someone was at home prior to arrival. When he arrived, he immediately went to work diagnosing why our dryer was not producing heat. He replaced our defunct heating element. Also, out of concern for our safety, at no additional cost to us he also replaced the exhaust duct that connects the dryer to the outside of the house. He also indicated that the kind of ducting we were using was not only unsafe, but, because it had become constricted, he believed that was most likely the reason for a premature and quot;deathand quot; of our heating element on our 7-year-old dryer.) The dryer is working properly now. We are very satisfied.

Great service! My dryer quit working, and I had trouble finding a company who would repair this particular brand of dryer. Appliance Service was able to fix it, and they were able to come out on the first day I had available. The guy who repaired my dryer was on time, knew exactly how to fix the problem, and had the dryer up and running less than 30 minutes after he walked in the door! He even moved it to the correct location away from the wall, and lined up the washer. He gave me some great tips about keeping the washer and dryer clean and how to keep from having trouble out of them in the future. They will definitely be my first call the next time I have trouble out of any of my appliances!

They were quick to send someone out to look at it and diagnose the problem. They did tell me it would take 7-10 days to get the part in. Somewhere along the lines, our work order dropped through the crack and I had to call and check up on it. They came out quickly that day, apologized for the issue and gave me a small discount, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great experience. Came out exactly when he said he would. Indicated the problem could be one of a few issues, did excellent job troubleshooting and fixed problem quickly and now our old fridge is working like a pro!
