Another Mans Treasure

I went into this store to sell a mid-century console television. The television itself folds into the console to have the appearance of a tall table. My 21st century television currently sits on top of it. I am moving and I no longer have a need for it. Before I went in, I did not know anything about the store other than they specialized in used furniture. I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. When I said to the sales lady that I had a television to sell, she rolled her eyes and said very condescendingly, "this is a furniture store." Then she laughed. I apologized and turned on my heels and left the store. As a successful professional, I am not in the habit of being treated this way. I certainly don't treat others like this, and I'm smart enough to know better than to ever treat a customer like this. (That is if I want to make money--and I assume that's why they're in business.) I will never be back there. Who on earth would deal with people like this?

I think they are a fabulous store. They carry all kinds of different things. They carry everything from bedroom and living room sets to clocks and lambs. The store is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They are a very neat store to go into.

This store is great. The turnover is high, and the prices are low(-ish). So it's always fun to go in and see what's new. When I was there, they had a great layaway offer. On the down side, the boss was yelling at one of his employees, for not answering the phone, which was a little awkward. I felt like I was a Thanksgiving dinner guest watching a huge family feud go down. But other than that, the selection was great. I'll be back.
