Originally we wanted hardwood flooring, but once we had all the options explained to us and saw the engineered hardwood we decided to go with it.  No regrets.  It is very attractive.

My wife dealt with the purchasing aspect of the experience, and I only picked up the tiles when they arrived in the store.  However, the staff was professional and friendly when I dealt with them, the tiles went down easily, and they look great in the bathroom.  Furthermore, the tiles arrived earlier than expected which was great.  The price for the tiles was a bit high, but I don't feel as though we could have gotten a better price anywhere else.

They did an excellent job and blended the carpet so well that you can hardly notice the damage.  Furthermore, the technician was top-notch, very friendly and professional, and charged a fair price for the work.

Worked with Lisa Day, who was very helpful. She spent time with us in the showroom, offered to have us view additional carpet choices at another location, measured for installation of hardwood, carpet, and vinyl. She followed up a few times during our decision phase, including answering additional questions and revising the scope of work. The primary reason we did not choose The Flooring Gallery was the need to sub out the hardwood finishing. If we had selected one of their pre-finished products, everything would have been done in-house and we would have had no reservations about hiring them. Since we were trying to match existing hardwood with a combination of finish and refinish work, we were concerned about having separate installers and finishers. We will be shopping with them with our next project that does not involve finish-in-place hardwood.

The price they quoted was double. They were very responsive and very nice. They came out and measured the whole house and did whatever they had to do. He was very polite and he helped me find things. He was a jolly and easy to go guy and he was wonderful. The estimate came back double for the same and I let the quality pass. I would probably not use them again.
