We will be using them in the future for some plumbing and electrical work when we finish the basement.
Rental property job- came to repair leak in one year old Moen faucet. Said faucet had to be replaced. I went to a store nearby and bought a faucet, the same model. No one was living in home for another 10 days. Renters said faucet started leaking the first time they turned it on. I returned from a vacation and asked them to look at it again thinking it was improperly installed and that I would not be charged. Surprise: not only was I charged but I wound up paying twice the amount for the second installation. They said the faucet was defective. I dropped what I was doing and ran over there and bought another one. It was not the right kind. I called the fellow running the show and asked why the faucet was not tested after the first installation to reveal the defect. I requested a break in the price as I felt they were partially responsible for this mess. The guy was VERY NASTY. Said he did not care about my business. Treated me like my complaints had virtually no validity and that I was silly woman. He also pointed out that he was very considerate to my husband- I guess my gender keeps me from being a valued customer.
Job at my residence- did not repair faucet, said IT was defective, stayed 15 minutes and charged me $85. This faucet was also a 5 year old Moen. Found out from another plumber that Moen would replace it and they did so. No questions asked. Wonder why the All Trades guy did not tell me that? It seems that this is common knowledge among plumbers...
"It is our goal to be able to satisfy each and every customer we serve. We have completed multiple jobs for this customer with satisfaction. We regret the fact they we were not able to do the same on these two. The circumstances surrounding these jobs took part of the liability and warranty out of our hands. Again, we are very sorry that we were not able to come to an agreement with this customer."
