+ -1 moreDr. Bosomworth listened to me and was very professional. His PA, David has been very responsive to help me manage medication needs correctly and adjusted as needed. They have some issues to resolve with office procedures being implemented for effective and efficient handling of scheduling, phone calls and billing because of their recent merger becoming Commonwealth Pain & Spine, but I think they are working to finalize them as quickly as they can. They have a strict scheduling policy, which I understand the necessity for running a medical practice that has burdensome regulations over which the doctors have little control. I noticed at my first appointment several people had scheduling problems because of a major interstate accident that delayed everyone’s arrival. Other than that one incident, I have not seen another problem like that. They have been responsive to me personally with scheduling affected by things beyond my control like weather and issues with driver assistance when I needed sedation for procedures. Overall, I am satisfied with the care I am receiving for quite serious arthritis pain management.

Description of Work: I went there for pain management. When I got there, I sat and waited for over 4 hours to be seen. A friend was with me and she finally went to the front desk to ask why it was taking so long and inquired how much longer it would be. They had overlooked me, thought I was already in the back seeing a doctor. So I finally get to the back and had to go through different "stations" like I was on an assembly line. One station was drug testing, another was questioning, another was talking with a doctor, another was paperwork, etc. You make a complete "loop" around the facility to get through all the stations before you see a doctor. When I finally got to the room to see a doctor, I instead saw a nurse practitioner who determined I needed no pain medication and decided they would schedule an appointment for a procedure at a later date. I then go back up front to schedule it, their computer is down and they couldnt schedule it. I asked if I could call them later to get an appointment date/time, they rudely said "No you may not!" and then proceeded to try fixing the computer which took another 15 minutes. By this time, I as MISERABLE. I was there approximately 7 hours and I left there with nothing to help me with my pain, which was fine because they scheduled me for the procedure to be done that I was hoping would help. But when the date for this procedure was approaching, they called a couple days before the appointment and cancelled it! They rescheduled it for a later date. But then I learned that they had scheduled the wrong procedure. I was in miserable pain by this time. It was a nightmare. I cancelled with them completely and found another doctor who is helping me. This place does not care about people. They put you through an awful experience.

+ -1 moreAll I can say is finding Advanced Pain Medicine has been a life altering event. I don't know what I would have done had I not found Dr. Dubal.. The procedures and care I've received has been the best I've ever received. I came to Dr. Dubal with very low expectations. I had been to see several doctors, had many tests and had been prescribed a number of different pain medications and nothing worked. I always left with constant pain. It wasn't until Dr. Dubal took over my case that I began to feel significant relief from my pain. She is by far one of the most dedicated and caring doctors I've ever had the great fortune to meet. Additionally her staff of nurses and technicians and support team are just the best. They're friendly, sincere and caring. This really is a wonderful medical group and I highly recommend them to anyone who is suffering from chronic pain.
Description of Work: I've had several back treatments thru Advanced Pain and Dr. Dubal including Nerve Blocks and Epidurals for chronic back pain.
