BROOKS FLOORING

We stopped in to the Brooks Flooring show room in Ft Wright and were immediately greeted by the owner Mr. Brooks and his gentle German Shepherd, 'Sarge'.  We had talked to other companies, but no one was a thorough and as eager to answer all of our questions as Mr. Brooks.  He spent plenty of time explaining everything to us and we left that day with samples to help in our selection of hardwood floors.  He came to our house and measured the space and provided us an estimate.  We scheduled the installation and selected a remnant carpeting for the stairs.  The contractors, Stan and Corey arrived on time and ready to get to work.  They were very professional and did an excellent job.  They were good to keep the mess to a minimum and once the job was complete the clean up was thorough.  Dan the carpet installer arrive right on time and made quick work of laying the carpet on the stairs.  He too was very professional and did an excellent job.  Our experience with Brooks Flooring was excellent and I know that we will be turning to them for any future flooring needs.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to any one looking to have flooring work done.

I could not get him to respond to my phone calls!! I called twice, even stated I was ready to make a purchase, but he never got back to me.  I decided to give up.  Thought it best to go with another carpet company.  I was concerned that if I had an issue with the carpet or installation later on, that  he may be difficult to contact and/or follow up with the problem......

The product quality was excellent for all areas utilized. Some of the contractors were not as professional as others. We encountered several concerns at the onset of work. The owner of the company stopped by to assess our concerns and said he would take care of the problems and would be dropping in throughout the remodel to check on the workers and work being done and to be sure we were completely satisfied. That was the last time we saw him or heard from him. Even after I had requested him via voicemail and several emails to call me or come see me, nothing. Instead, his wife would come to represent the company. We plan on additional remodeling come spring but will not be requesting the services of this company.
