I contacted the business and left a voice mail and was called back within 30 minutes. I explained the situation to the gentleman, who turned out to be the owner. Once he determined what may be the problem, we tried to schedule a time and he was extremely accomodating. He stated he would have a truck at my house between 7:30 and 8:00 P.M. the next night and they would call 30 minutes before arrival. The next day, we were called 45 minutes before they were to arrive. Upon arrival, the two gentlemen went to work immediately at finding the root of the problem. They also answered every question I posed. I told them what I thought the problem was and they started working. After about 30 minutes, not only did they clean the filter, they pumped the tank and cleared the backup. They also explained about periodic maintenence. They said to continue with the Ridex treatments on the same monthly schedule that we have been using. Now with all the research I have done on pumping septic systems, I was very concerned. When he started going over the charges, I was very pleasantly surprised at the final outcome of $275.00. I told him that I would be contacting the in 3 years to come back out to service the system. He said don't worry they would send me a reminder.

Rand R Septic cleaned out and inspected a septic tank for a new home purchase. They were running about 30 minutes late but were professional enough to call and let us know that they would be running a few minutes behind. They cleaned and inspected the tank for the price they quoted. We were very happy with their service in price of service. We will definitely use them again in the future. *This was the second home we looked at buying. We used Zaring previously to clean inspect a septic tank. Zaring was almost $300 dollars more expensive!

I called Rand R on a Tuesday to get my tank pumped since it was overflowing. They set the appointment for 5:30pm on Thursday. I didn't hear from anyone, so I thought they were not going to show up. About 7:30 and night they arrived to pump the tank. I was worried being dark and late they would rush and not do a good job. Even though they arrived late they took the time to clean my filters, check the pump opperatin and explain how the system works and what to do to help maintain it. I was qouted 1 price on the phone and when they arrived said I have a 1000 gal tank not 500 gal as I was qouted for and it would be an additional $100 if I wanted it all pumped. I don't know how large my tank is so hopefully they were being truthfull with me. I wish they would have asked me on the phone how many covers I had so they could have qouted the correct price over the phone. I would think given the size of my house and number of covers they were truthfull and I would recommend using them.

The young man, who is the owners son, took time to explain how our system worked, what we should do to keep it clean, and did not try to sell us anything else. I was very pleased with their service and would hire them again. I highly recommend this family owned business to anyone looking for someone to assist with septic problems.

I called and they were able to come out the next morning. The price was very good. They even told me the price over the phone when a lot of companies wouldn't. They have a beautiful new truck. It's nice to have a nice truck show up at your house. The two guys that did the work were very friendly. They are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain where my cleanout area was and my septic take opening were and also how septic tanks work.
